Our home is newly renovated in 2014. You have free range of the basement with a private bedroom & full bathroom. Feel free to use our spacious kitchen & essentials. We enjoy meeting new people & hope that you enjoy your stay!
You have your own space in the basement, private bedroom and full private bathroom. The washer and dryer are also in the basement which we will try to avoid using while you are our guest. You, however, are welcome to catch up on a load while you are visiting. Bathroom essentials will also be provided just in case you forgot to pack something!
Feel free to use the common living room and kitchen upstairs. You may certainly use all cooking utensils and any basics (condiments, seasonings, etc.). We have a gas range/oven as well as a charcoal grill. We just ask that you clean up after yourselves when you're finished.
You may use the back or front door, whichever you feel most comfortable with. Our backyard is completely fenced in and private, feel free to enjoy the outdoors while you are with us.
We look forward to meeting all of our guests but will follow your lead. We're happy to give recommendations on landmarks to visit and places to eat/drink. I grew up in Pierre and love sharing our beautiful area with visitors.
Any pets must be kenneled and in the mud room unless you are with them in the fenced in backyard. We do not allow smoking on the property. Otherwise, we just expect common courtesy.
Hi, I'm Emily! I have worked at bed and breakfast's in the past greatly enjoy hosting others in our home. I bought the home that my Dad grew up in and remodeled it in 2014. It still has much of it's charm with more modern finishes to appeal to my taste. My fiance, Uriah, lives with me and is very pleasant and entertaining to discuss life with. Our dog, Porter, is an energetic sweetheart and greatly looks forward to meeting you! We have just recently opened a restaurant so that keeps us very busy. We love cooking together so you'll oftentimes see us in the kitchen when we have the opportunity. Otherwise, our time is spent outside either working on our yard (a neverending job) or on the river.
