800 sq. ft. - 0.3 mi to downtown w/coffee shop/restaurants/stores, 7 mi to Mt. Rainier Nat. Park, 19 mi to White Pass Ski Area, 48 mi to Mt. Saint Helens, in the heart of Gifford Pinchot Nat. Forest & surrounded by wilderness w/old growth forest.
INTERIOR: Hall Creek Cabin (built in the 1990s) is a super, good-sense home. It is fully furnished with all the comforts of home, including a well-appointed kitchen for preparing and serving meals for 6, and has an electric "fire place"
EXTERIOR: Though there is no direct view of Mt. Rainier from inside the cabin, there is from the property (weather permitting). Hall Creek Cabin has a charcoal briquette BBQ, Chimenea, hot tub and outdoor seating.
Hall Creek Cabin has only 2 available parking spaces.
If you walk up Begonia Lane and turn left before the bridge, you have access to a shaded area by Hall Creek and falls that is part of our property .
Guests have access to the entire house EXCEPT the locking closet where we store supplies and cleaning equipment.

WE CANNOT CONTROL THE WEATHER!!
Heavy rain or snow can cause road closures to national parks and occasionally skiing due to avalanches. Hwy 12 (White Pass Scenic Byway) is a major artery between the I-5 corridor and eastern side of WA, and the state keeps it VERY WELL PLOWED. The cabin is 0.1 mi. from Hwy 12, on the same road plowing rotation as downtown Packwood, allowing easy access to all our houses. Regardless, it is important to carry chains in the winter, because you won't be allow access to White Pass Ski area without them.
During high fire season, you must abide by posted BURN BANS issued by the state, county and/or local fire department or fines may be levied! A burn ban means no recreational fires or use of charcoal briquette BBQs.
A completed, signed RENTAL CONTRACT (w/expanded house rules) is required at time of booking, sent by host, and requires the name & age of all guests & vehicle information. The contract can be returned via: fax, scan/email OR eSign using computer or Smart/iPhone.

Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed in the cabin! Ash trays are provided outside. Windows and/or doors immediately around the smoker MUST be closed while smoking! Evidence of smoking inside will cause the forfeiture of your security deposit as will butts left around the property.
Absolutely NO PETS, are allowed inside OR outside the properties! You cannot bring your pet with the intention of "keeping it in your vehicle". Evidence of pets will cause the forfeiture of your security deposit.
Individuals renting our property must be 25 years of age, and no one under 18 can be left alone in the cabin at any time, for any reason.
Occupancy limits must be respected. Occupancy means overnight sleepers and daytime visitors.
Lost key charge - $25.00
Telephones are NOT provided. If needed, Blanton’s Market (.3 mile away) has a pay phone and the fire department is about the same distance away for medical emergencies. Not all cell phones work in Packwood, so check with your carrier BEFORE occupancy.
QUIET HOURS begin at 10 PM. We ask that you respect our neighbors' peace and properties.
Absolutely NO OPEN FLAME DEVICES (candles, oil lamps, or incense) are permitted in the houses. FIREWORKS are not allowed. Evidence of these will cause the forfeiture of your security deposit.
A ski/board waxing area is not provided. All waxing must be done outside the cabin or off premises.
You must abide by all posted Hot Tub and Chimenea instructions. They are either located in the Welcome Book or displayed on the refrigerator.
