Our first trip to LaPaz . The unit and complex is as advertised but it really surpassed our expectations. The deck is huge and the view over the Marina was great. The beach club is literally steps away, which gives you towel services, beach access pool and hot tubes. 4 restaurants in the Marina are all excellent with Steinbeck our favourite with Music and amazing food and service. Town is not walkable but we had a rental so 7minutes you are there. The golf course is spectacular. Hole 14 will take your breathe away. The management company is so amazing words fail me. Anabelle is literally always on call. She arranged and took my wife to the Marina medical center, also steps away, for a minor issue she had. Problem solved in under an hour. Crazy helpful. Will try and get a family trip down and would not book with anyone else. Two things you should be aware ,it is a Marina things get going around 730am. The evening was very quiet and easy to sleep with the AC on. Finally you will occasionally get a wiff from the water treatment center. This is not limited to this unit but the beach club too. Lasts seconds but you should be aware of it. Would not stop us from booking this unit again. Modern ,clean, good WiFi and the location is awesome

The host did her best to make us feel welcome. The place has the potential to be really nice. However, our experience was kind of awful. After entering the condo, the door locked behind me and a screw became loose in the doorjamb, essentially locking my wife out of the condo. We had to call the owner and I had to pry the screw loose with a butterknife to get out. This is telling of the remainder of our time here. There is literally a laundry list of things other than the door not working in this condo. A sampling of them is the dishwasher, lights and intermittent hot water. Also, there were nails strewn all of the deck and the floor clearly hadn't been cleaned at all. Again, the hosts are very nice. On our third day at the beach, our daughter gashed her foot open on a sharp rock. We reluctantly decided to head back to the U.S. a few days early rather than deal with potential infection in Mexico. The host offered to pay for a doctor visit and even bring us to the clinic. Very sweet. Having said that, we asked for a discount for being locked out our first day, the filthy floor and nails being all over the floor of the deck and were denied that request. It was really a 'slumlord' style scenario.

I am sorry that things weren't to your satisfaction and that we weren't able to give you the refund you were expecting. Unfortunately cutting your stay short was unrelated to the condo itself and we tried to offer your assistance with your daughter's cut on her foot but you didn't give us the opportunity. Since you manifested you weren´t happy with the cleaning (which we reviewed earlier that day before you arrived) we offered a complimentary cleaning which you refused. We did report prior to your arrival the dishwasher malfunction reported on an early check in and requested your authorization to bring a technician on a date an time were you would´t be disturbed on your vacations and you said it wasn´t necessary and responded you wanted to leave and asked for your refund. And when your wife got locked outside we arrived shortly, fixed it and the door and you could still get in and out of the property without further problem. We hope that you can make it back to La Paz in the future and you can make up for the days you missed and have a better experience. As you mentioned we went out of our way to right away fix any issues you found, there wasn't really much more that we could have done, and I am quite offended by your slumlord remark simply because we wouldn't refund your stay.

My family and I grew up in Mexico City and relocated to beautiful La Paz in the early 2000s.

We love it here and can't ever imagine living anywhere else in the world.

My sister, Stephanie, and I run a rental management company, predominantly for non-resident owners, who share our same love of La Paz. We look after their properties and when they are not in town we take care of them and welcome other like minded visitors to stay in their homes.

Every home is unique, but they all have one thing in common. This is that they are very well looked after and will make a great place to stay for your time here in La Paz.
