We are located locally and know our way around the western slope area of Colorado. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or send a message.
We have horse pasture and water that is available upon request only. Up to 4 horses may be allowed. It is necessary to provide your own feed, drain troughs after your stay and keep the parking and loading areas clean of manure. There is plenty of room for horse trailers and trucks. We are located approximately 4 miles from the Mesa County Fair Grounds Arena and multiple riding trails of which we are pleased to offer suggestions. Please be advised of the Colorado Law (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) which states that we are not liable for any injuries which may occur on our property due to equine activities.
Please, no smoking on the property. Respect the privacy of the other house, outbuildings and owner's master suite in the main house. We greatly appreciate your cleanliness and consideration of turning off all appliances, stereo and tv after use, closing and locking all exterior doors, leaving all windows closed and locked, leaving on all out door lights and replacing all keys in designated location. Please place all dishes and utensils in the dishwasher and run cycle at the end of your stay. Daily maid service is not offered but, a washer and dryer (laundry detergent) is available for use during your stay for the sheets and towels (provided) as needed. Please replace all games, books, cd's, movies, and fishing pole after use. Up to 2 dogs are acceptable, please clean up the back yard (scooper provided), and feel free to use provided dog bowls in laundry room and dog beds. The Mud room has a doggie door and is a perfect (airconditioned) hangout for a furry friend. Please refrain from inviting your pet onto the people beds and sofa. Your pets and young children will surely enjoy the fun of 5 acres but it is necessary to keep watch over them at all times (as the property is fenced but not the back yard) and avoid the areas that we request privacy. In the home please watch over children near the TV and Stereo tables.
Please entertain your guests that are not on the reservation at one of the off-site restaurants or venues as we accept only guests approved on the reservation.
We have so enjoyed our home and property. We love animals, travel and the experience of outdoors and adventure. That is why we choose to share our experience with others of like mind. The peaceful yet recreational and culture way of leisure is what it's about when we are not at work; how about you? We like to travel to Europe and Mexico which enhances our cultural interests. We love language, although we really don't speak anything but English! When we travel we like to use Airbnb, Agri-tourism, boutique hotels, Hostels, Pensions, Inns, any type of stay that gets us closer to the authentic local culture. Meeting the locals and socializing allows us the opportunity to discover interesting foods, museums, history and culture. However, there is nothing quite like being in our backyard of majestic Colorado. Having skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, horseback riding, biking, rafting, fishing, water sports... and hometown festivals and music is really the way to live! We try to take it all in.
