We have included the Crook County " Transient Occupancy Tax" which is 8.5%. If you require a receipt please advise us and one will be waiting for you on your arrival.
The apartment over looks a fenced garden, and has lots of windows that bring in loads of light. Some of the furnishings are antique.
The first thing that we need to mention is the location of our farm. THIS IS RURAL CENTRAL OREGON! We are 7 miles south of Prineville up a road that is very nice and kept well in the winter. THE LAST PART OF THE DRIVE IS VERY ROUGH TO PEOPLE THAT NEVER GO ON A GRAVEL ROAD. 7/10'S OF A MILE FROM THE PAVEMENT TO OUR GATE. ( the gravel part is really not as bad as some roads in this area, however, please be mindful of this when you are booking! ) Our friends and neighbors drive very small, low to the ground cars, and don't have any problem!
The apartment is part of our home, and you are most welcome to open your door and be part of our family. We do have a new rescue dog, and 3 cats that come and go in our house. That being said, we keep the animals out of the apartment so that those with allergies won't be affected.
We would love to help you find activities to do. We feel this is an ideal location for Central Oregon. We are a few miles from Prineville reservoir, Ochoco reservoir, and Prineville itself. One hour to Bend, half hour to Redmond, and nearly an hour to Sisters. We are in the foothills of the Ochocos.
We thank you for not bringing any more animals. However, we might be able to find space and water for your equine friends, on a case by case basis. Please contact us for more information.
Please respect our home and treat it as your own. No drugs, or parties. No other people, without prior consent. No smoking vaping, or chewing of any sort.

My husband is a retired Fire Chief, while I am a retired farmer and book keeper, but am still a consultant for small and home based businesses. We retired and moved to Central Oregon to relax and have fun in the sun! We used to take in unwanted farm animals, and at one time had quite a few. We are down in numbers, but still have a llama, donkey, horses, mules, chickens, dog and cats. The animals do make noises!
We are half way between Prineville and the reservoir. There is so much to see and do around our small slice of heaven!
We kindly ask you to refrain from smoking, vaping or chewing while on our farm.
There are outside steps to the apartment, it would be a poor fit for someone that has difficulties with stairs.
Our favorite saying is: Every day is a Sunday!
We know you will enjoy your stay!
