Novena (Chinese: 诺维娜) is an upmarket district located within the Central Region of Singapore. Novena area is one of the most expensive housing district in Singapore due to its proximity to the city. Being close to entertainment and shopping district of Orchard and yet still offers the serene tranquility of a quiet residential district.

The house is two-storey.
Please don't be put off by the slightly higher rates. Our proximities to amenities like supermarket and malls, as well as the space our house has to offer makes it worth the little extra.

What we have here is a two-storey house. Almost 99% of the listing here are apartments or condominiums. It is rare to have house so close to the city on Airbnb.
The house is not as new as most condominiums on the list but my wife does a good job of up-keeping it. The house was built in 2009 and my parents bought it new. They are renting it out for retirement income. Me and my wife are helping them to manage it here on Airbnb.
A unique, tranquil and private, 2 storey house. The house is located within a condominium compound. You get the best of privacy and amenities of a condominium. Our house is about 123 square meters (1323 square feet) consisting of a ground floor living area, kitchen, and a small toilet. While the 3 bedrooms, and two toilets with showers are on the second floor.
[BACKGROUND INFO] 123 square meters may not seems like much from where you come from, but in the land scarce city state Singapore, 123 square meters in the central region is quite a lot to offer.
Our home is rented out wholly and you will be the only guest.
Our typical guests are families or a group of friends traveling together. Our guests feedbacks were the large living space provides them time to interact unlike a hotel. The time they spent together in the living room after a day of sightseeing is the most valuable.
Away from main noisy roads, our house provides them the quiet and peaceful environment for a good night rest. It is really quiet. One of our guests reviewed that the only disturbance during their stay was the chirping of birds!
The master bedroom has a large balcony. There is direct access to the swimming pool through the back-gate of the balcony.
The house is most ideal for family traveling with young children. Serene and cozy - Just like your home away from home. Toddler beds are available upon request.

Bedroom #2 has been upgraded to 2x Single beds. We will have new photos soon.
You will have the whole house to yourself with complete privacy. There is a swimming pool accessible from the balcony on the second floor.
There is also a shared BBQ pit beside the pool. You will need to book it with the security before using it.

Weekdays: 7am-8am, 12.30pm-1.30pm, after 6.30pm.
Weekends & Holidays: Anytime ;)

We have just installed a digital lock for the main door. So guests can check-in themselves when I am not able to receive them personally. The passcode to the door will be sent to you before your arrival. Don't we just love technology! No more hiding of keys under the door mat!
We value your privacy so we will usually contact our guests one or two days before their departure. However, we are always ready to see to our guests needs.

[Update 4 Jan 2017] We are replacing the small dinning table and chairs in the living room this week.
[07 April 2016] After hearing feedback from our guests and also due to the high demand for guests with group of 4~5 person, we will be doing away with our sofa bed. They will be replaced with real proper single beds to the middle bedroom #2. Real comfortable single beds. And bye bye sofa bed.
*The house is not sparkling new. It was completed in 2008. We are sorry if the photographs gave you the wrong impression otherwise.*
*We need to emphasis that the house is comfortable for 4 guests, but can accommodates up to 6 guests, bearing in mind that guests needs to share queen size beds. We are sorry it does not mean that there will be 6 single beds.*
*Please take note that bedroom #1 and bedroom #2 is separated by a foldable door and there could be some privacy issue here.*
We do not charge cleaning fees and all cleaning are done by my wife and another helper (she's kinda senior). We are not a hotel but a home so please help us keep the place as clean as possible. ;)

[25 July 2015 Updates]: There will be cable TV with 62 channels from 1st August. 200Mbps Fibre Optic Internet connection will also be available from 1st August onwards with AC 1200 Wi-Fi.

The rooms and beds can be configured to your needs. Please let us know your needs. We have a total of 3 children beds available.
As a general guide, the most comfortable settings is for a family of 3 adults and 2 children.
The maximum recommended family size should ideally be no more than 4 adults and 3 children for a comfy stay.
We need to remind all guests that we are letting out our home for accommodation. We are not a full scale hotel serviced apartment where cleaning is done on a daily basis, or have the bedsheets and towels changed on a daily basis.
We do not charge cleaning fees but all we ask is that you treat our house as yours and keep it clean and use it like yours. We do not charge you for a broken cup or a stained bedsheets, we just need you to inform us so we can replace them for the next family moving in.
As this is a two storey house there is a stair case and we all know children love to play around staircases. Please exercise vigilance and keep an eye on your children at all time.
Note about the swimming pool: It is not manned by a lifeguard. It is quite a deep pool for children (1.2 meters deep) and please practice vigilance when your child is using the pool. Do not leave your children unattended when they are using the pool. No usage of the pool after 10.30pm.
Requires foreign passport with valid visa. The residents in the estate values privacy and security very much which in term makes our place serene and secure. As such, we require you to submit a proof of Government issued ID to Airbnb before booking.
Strictly no smoking as the smell of cigarette smoke will take a long time to disperse making the house unsuitable for renting out again in a short period of time.
If you wish to smoke, you can enjoy your cigarette on either of the balcony located just outside the master bedroom or on the ground floor. Both of which are within the house compound.
As this is a quiet neighbour which makes it special, our neighbours like it the way it is. Late night party will be put to a stop immediately by a visit from the local police.
In Asia people are not accustomed to seeing naked bodies to appreciate such nice views. Please respect our values.
No swimming naked in the pool.
No usage of the pool after 10.30 pm.
No walking naked around the house without pulling down the curtains.
No sex in open at the upper floor balcony.
No footwear in the house.
