This incredible patio home in Mauna Kai captures the true North Shore Feeling. A full luxury remodel has made this beautiful condo a rare jewel. Imported hardwood doors from Bali, an antique Chinese opium bed, full kitchen, private hot tub on lanai. Our 1500 sq ft patio home has two bedrooms each with it's own private bath. Five patio doors allow great ventilation and access to the lush tropical gardens outside.
Enjoy a relaxed quiet non smoking home, where the locals live.
I'll allow short bookings of any length if they fill a gap between other reservations, and prefer that bookings are back to back with other reservations. I book up 100% so I try to avoid leaving 2-3 day gaps between reservations that are hard to fill.
Please note: Mauna Kai Resort enforces quiet time from 10:00PM until 8:00AM. Only ONE parking pass is provided and if you have to park on the grass next to the pool at night please move your car to an available spot by 10 AM the next morning.
Inside our Mauna Kai condo, and within 4 feet of the building, we enjoy a smoke free environment. Check-in is 4 PM and CHECK OUT IS 10 AM, we need time to clean for the next guest who is often arriving at 4 PM that afternoon, thanks for your understanding!
Prior to check out we hope that you can do some of the linens and towels, most of the dishes and take the trash out. This is especially helpful with large groups. If you leave more than 4 loads of laundry additional cleaning charges will apply. Kauai's red dirt will permanently stain linens. Please leave the sand and dirt outside, rinse off with the hose provided.
Please do not feed the wild cats or chickens.
This is a beautiful home with some fragile furniture. It's not an indestructible condo and may not be suitable for some children.
Please read the guest manual. Mahalo!

I've been traveling to Hawaii for 35 years. Kauai and Mauna Kai are the best. I hike the Kalalau and other great trails often when not enjoying the great water, snorkeling and wave fun are great, so is the pool. My wife and I stay at Mauna Kai for 2-3 months a year and want to stay more.
