Private bedroom & full bath on the first level of our townhouse, conveniently located just outside Baltimore.
The property backs to Soldier's Delight Nature Preserve with 7 miles of hiking trails, great for a morning walk.
We are currently in the process of remodeling our home bit-by-bit, and certain areas are in a transition phase and may not be aesthetically pleasing. However, your room and bathroom are finished and there will be no noise or debris during your stay.
While with us, you will have access to your own private room and bathroom, as well as the full kitchen, sitting room, dining room and deck on the main level.
Dylan just left the Marine Corps and currently works in IT, and I'm a structural engineer. We love to meet new people, have great conversations and explore new places. If we're around during your stay, we're always down for conversation and board games. :)
We have a whole house HEPA filtration system. We've hosted guests who are allergic to pets in the past, but they were never bothered. Just so you know, we have a cat who is never allowed in the guest rooms and two bunnies who are usually in or near their hutch and have never left the living room.
Your bed has a Tempurpedic mattress. So very comfy!
We provide a TV in your room; however, we do not subscribe to cable services. There is, however, an Amazon Fire TV Stick connected to the television on which you will have access to our Netflix and HBO accounts as well as Pandora, Spotify, YouTube, etc.. Access to local over-the-air tv channels coming soon!
Smoking is permitted on the back deck.
When using the common areas of the house, please leave all rooms the way you found them. We have few dishes, so please be sure to clean up after yourself if you use any of them.
Enjoy your stay! :)
Hi, there! I'm Kimber. I was born and raised in Florida, but am currently living in the Baltimore area for my job. I'm easygoing, friendly, thoughtful, and a bit shy (at first). I enjoy good conversation, a good cup of tea and good people.
My current goal is to set aside enough resources in the next 5 years to quit my job, buy a tiny home (look up Tiny Heirlooms, they're awesome!), live minimally and travel the world.
