Cozy and cute 70s home on the hills above Bellagio, ideal for a relaxed holiday between Lake Como and the Alps. In a quiet and traditional district with restaurants, paths and beautiful sceneries just a few minutes walk away. Come and enjoy the real atmosphere of Bellagio, the pearl of Lake Como!
Designed and furnished by our grandparents, the house seems like it has come out a 70s magazine; however, we have kept it clean and fresh and the beds are new. In the middle between the high peaks of the Pre-Alpi and stunning Lake Como, the home is an excellent place for holidays with friends or family. Our hospitality strategy is to give you the most authentic Italian experience, that is why the kitchen is equipped with the original rustic utensils, but there is also a very comfortable sitting room with Italian TV, cards and board games for the whole family, as well as all the necessary colors and papers for kids to express their creativity. The whole house is decorated with paintings made from my mother, who took inspiration from the lake, which can be seen from the large bedroom window. The house is surrounded by a green and pretty garden and yard, on all the walls you can see the enormous shutters that, in Italian style, we advice to keep closed during the day to keep the afternoon heat out.
The main floor of the house is available for rent , the garage is available for parking just below but more suitable for motorbikes as the access is a bit difficult for a car ; however, you will find this is not a problem since free parking is easy to find all along the via Casate. Guest can access to the garden around the house through a small gate on the left handside.
We are taking care of the house as a family, one of us will always welcome guests to show the house and deliver keys. Living on the other shore of the lake, we are always be available by phone, email and we can in person reach you within the hour.
The house is on a quiet road that becomes a dead end after the next small village, meaning that very few cars pass by; allowing a very chill atmosphere, particularly in summer.
It is forbidden to smoke inside the house;
animals are not allowed inside;
PLEASE shut all shutters and doors in case of THUNDERSTORM or heavy wind;
in case of close thunderstorm, please disconnect TV and WIFI until its gone;
please do RECYCLING using the predisposed bins correctly!
Guests are welcome to enjoy the various ceramic and glass cutlery with care.
