Our home is in a very quaint, quiet neighborhood with beautiful trees and historic homes. We are walking distance to the "Golden Lamb", the oldest Inn and restaurant in Ohio. We are within 1/2 hour from Dayton and Cincinnati. "Home Away From Home"
Our home is unique because it is walking distance to downtown Lebanon where the famous Golden Lamb Inn is located. There are many shops such as antique, boutique, candy, ice cream and so much more. We are also in walking distance to a golf course, tennis courts and basketball courts. There is the Lebanon train station right at the end of our street and it runs on most week-ends.
Be sure and check the web-site. If you have children, it is so much fun!
There is also Tanger Outlet Mall within 10 minutes and Miami Valley Casino and racetrack. We are within 1/2 hour to Cincinnati and/or Dayton.
All guest will have access to our entire home. There is also a nice backyard with a gas grill and eating area. We just hosted a small wedding in the backyard and it was beautiful.
There are 4 of my brothers and sisters who live close-by and can come over if anything goes wrong. Otherwise, we leave you alone so you can enjoy your family time.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The City of Lebanon requires us to charge 10.75% tax (4% lodging; 6.75% - state) AirBNB does not collect or remit taxes to Lebanon or the State, therefore, we have to ask each renter for a separate payment for taxes. I will be able to let you know the exact amount based on how many days you are staying. A Check should be made out to "Rackett Enterprise LLC" and mailed to Mary Ellen DeLaney, 5729 Venison Way, Groveport, Ohio 43125 before you check-in. I will give you a reminder, of course. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I did say our home is "wheelchair accessible" but only for the main floor. We have a ramp coming in the back door (we have 2 of the family members who use wheelchairs). However, the bath is only 1/2 bath on the main floor. The full bath is upstairs.
We would like to rent to 30 years old and older. The reason is our home was built in 1808 and needs "tender loving care". We do not mind if families get together etc. We welcome all family events.
Lebanon does require a 9.75% tax on the amount of the rental. Apparently, AirBNB do not collect tax, so we will have to do that separately.
Also, because we live in a residential neighborhood, we have told the neighbors that all noise outside would be discontinued after 10:00 pm on weekends and 9:00 on school nights (Sunday - Thursday)
I always like to send our rental agreement to your personal e-mail once you rent. That way, if you have any questions, we will have each other's e-mails.
Our check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is noon. However, if we have the house ready for our guests earlier on your check-in day, we like to offer an early arrival so you can enjoy your time a little longer.
I am the 3rd oldest of 9 children. I have always been very family-oriented. I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I am the Senior Citizen Director for Bexley, Ohio. I plan all of the older adults' activities. We travel all over the United States and have also been to Europe. Some of my members are 90+ and still want to travel!
