In the grounds of Northamptonshire's oldest house and one of the longest inhabited houses in the UK. If history is your thing we have it in abundance. We love people and look forward to welcoming you to somewhere a bit different. The price doesn't include breakfast but guests are welcome to tea, coffee, toast and jam.
The lodgings is a 500 year old building originally used for guests to the Prebendal Manor up stairs and for animals downstairs. These days it is a family home with many interesting features. We have proper walls, beams galore and a spiral staircase.
We are in the grounds of the Prebendal Manor and guests are welcome to use the gardens, which are particularly beautiful in June when the roses are in full bloom.
Guests have joint use of the house and are very welcome to join us either in the sitting room or in the kitchen.
The house operates very much as a family home and we are very happy to share a cup of tea, glass of wine or beer. Equally if you prefer we can leave you to your own devices.
No smoking inside the house
Pets are not allowed
I generally work during the week Monday to Friday so if you need to checkin at different times than between 5 and 9pm please contact me before booking to make sure I can accommodate your needs.
NB The price doesn't include breakfast but guests are welcome to tea, coffee, toast and jam.
