Please note it is clearly stated multiple times in our listing that renters pay for utilities based on usage (as is standard practice in the Hamptons), and I also restate this in the check-in email I send to renters a week prior to arrival. We received no questions from the renter on this.
Pesticides were not sprayed on the lawn during this tenant's stay- a fertilizer and treatment for crab grass were applied as part of standard lawn care and neither are toxic to humans or animals. The renter reached out to me multiple times during her stay with questions and made no mention of this issue, until she was asked to pay for damages to our home during her stay.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking & BBQ essentials including tons of serveware and drinkware. We don't provide food for the pantry for sanitary reasons.
The spa and pool are cleaned once weekly. Again, the tenant reached out to me with several questions during her stay, but made no mention that she was unhappy with the Jacuzzi until after she was asked to pay for damages to the home.
Cell phone reception is limited throughout the entire Hamptons- this is not unique to our property. For convenience, we have installed Verizon & Sprint boosters in our home, we provide a landline, and provide wi-fi throughout the entire home and backyard.
