B&B on The Henley is owned and operated by Norman & Jana Koop and their daughter-in-law Marisha. The spacious and comfortable two bedroom half house sleeps 8, has a view of the water from every window and overlooks Henley Island in Port Dalhousie.
We are located on the banks of idyllic Martindale Pond overlooking Henley Island in “Old Port Dalhousie”. Guest have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the natural environment of our waterfront property. Feel free to bring your own canoe or kayak and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you paddle around Martindale Pond. A Rower's paradise, we are steps away from the Henley Regatta rowing course and the Regatta Grand Stands. Henley island is located on the Twelve Mile Creek, and is recognized for holding the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, a large world famous rowing event.
Minutes away from “Old Port Dalhousie” beach & pier, walking and biking trails such as Green Ribbon Trail, Harbour Walkway and the Bruce Trail just to name a few and 20 minutes from Niagara Falls and Niagara-on -the-Lake. Wine lovers rejoice, we are in the heart of Niagara Wine Country! We are close to many wineries that offer tours and tasting.
This large two bedroom Lower level Walkout Bed and Breakfast has a queen bed in the master bedroom and in the second bedroom. There is a daybed in the living room that can be converted into a single or double bed and two single beds in the kitchen nook. We offer a fully equipped kitchen and barbecue on the patio over looking the water. The space has one bathroom with a shower.
We are on a dead end street, the space is very private, spacious and quiet. You have private use of the backyard and patio and have your own private entrance off the patio at the back of the house. We share our very large driveway but have designated two parking spots for our quest. There is extra parking on the road.
We offer a self serve breakfast meaning upon your arrival we will have stocked your fridge and cupboards with various breakfast items for you to enjoy.
Norman and Jana will always be available if you need them, they live in the other half of the house. We will provide you with Norman's cell phone number upon arrival so you can always get in touch with us. We respect your privacy but also want you to know we are here if you need anything.
1.) Relax and enjoy your stay with us.
2.) Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
3.) Special events/parties are limited to 10 guests and must be completed by 12am.
4.) No excessive noise of any kind allowed on property.
5.) Smoking is NOT permitted in the building.
6.) Recycle and compost bins are provided. Please use them.
7.) The waterfront (including the stairs, bank and dock) are to be used at your own risk. It is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
8.) People other than those booked as "Guest" may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
9.) Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the apartment, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or lines to be taken from the apartment.
10.) Parking is limited to 2 vehicles in the driveway. Available parking on the road.
We are a bed and breakfast known as B&B on The Henley. My wife Jana, daughter-in-law Marisha and myself (Norman) are your host. Jana and I take care of you while you stay with us and Marisha takes care of all your booking inquiries.
