A house is situated in a small settlement called Bobovišća n/m, on the western part of the Brač island. It has a good road conection with a main island's port in Supetar (14km distant).

We spent 5 weeks here and really enjoyed the place and micro village. The entire small fjord/valley is very quiet at night and morning, no sound of cars just takes your breath away. Incredibly clear water was actually warmer here than at other beaches at island. Very few tourists make this ideal place for family holiday. If you are looking for nightlife look elsewhere, this is place for meditation :-). Make sure you buy fish or squid (hobotnica in croatian) from local fisherman and grill it at the fireplace, delicious!
This place is a gem. It is a fully fitted vacation home with all the amenities. It really has it all. It is quiet, has a wonderful view. Shaded and sunny sitting areas and a comfortable house. The kitchen is fully fitted, from dish soap to salt and olive oil, so you won't have to buy or bring stuff like that. Luka and his father Serge are lovely people and give you a warm welcome but also keep their distance, to avoid being intrusive.
We are a young couple travelling with our six month old daughter. Our stay at La Kukaracha was outstanding. We were there for 4 weeks. Bobovisce is an excellent place to relax as well as a good base to explore the island of Brac. It is a 20 minute drive from the ferry at Supetar. The towns/villages of Bol, Postira, Dol, Puscisca and Povlja are all less than an hour drive away and made for easy day trips. The beaches at Zlatni Rat and Lovrecina bay were also readily accessible. La Kukaracha has all day sun and is a very short walk (2 minutes) down to the Bobovisce harbour (road or stair access) and its amenities, including the fabulous swimming and the two taverns on the water. The house is very well appointed. The terrace has both a shaded and sunny area to take in the view and for barbecuing. The kitchen is very well stocked for self catering, with a very good electric fan oven. The beds are comfortable and the cotton sheets were lovely. The living room is comfortable and a nice spot for relaxing if the weather is rainy. The air conditioning was welcome for hot nights. The house is airy and sunny and gets a great breeze. Luka and his parents were very accommodating. They provided a proper cot bed for our daughter. Luka's mum was incredibly welcoming and brought us clean towels and sheets on a weekly basis as well as homemade jam and other treats throughout our stay. We wish to thank the Kukavicic family for their wonderful hospitality.
