Paul do mar is a quaint fishing village located on the island of Madeira, popularly known as the "Pearl of the Atlantic." Known for their daily catch, Paul do Mar is the home of the delicious Espada (black scabbard fish). The locals are often found playing cards, singing Portuguese folk songs, and out gathering Lapas (limpets) and Caramujos (sea snails). The two beaches are almost always packed, and the surf is one of the best on the Island. Hiking is also a popular pass time for tourists.
The home is a spacious three story, three bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation dream.

Paul do mar is a quaint fishing village. The island of Madeira may be small but has an endless amount of places to visit and things to do, make sure to take advantage and travel to other beautiful towns. To name just a few: Camara de lobos for the islands best poncha (Madeira’s signature drink). Funchal is Madeira’s largest “city” where Cristiano Ronaldo’s newest hotel, statue, clothing store, and museum is located. Porto Moniz is home to Madeira’s most breath taking natural pool. Cabo Girao’s skywalk has recently become a very popular tourist spot, which is a glass deck that separates you with the 580 meters below you (not recommended if you are scared of heights). The locals will be your favorite part about Paul do Mar, they are kind and helpful, so feel free to ask them for directions and/or about other possible things to do.
