Historic home in Overbrook Farms, 1/2 block from train into Center City PHL.
"Gryphons Gate" has been a favorite on the Overbrook Farms House tour and featured in the 'Haven' column in the Philadelphia Enquirer. The house was built in 1901. The house is gated and has room to park 4 cars
There are 3 bed rooms on the second floor, two with queen beds and one with a double. One bedroom has a private bath with a tub, the other two bedrooms share a bath with a tub with shower. There is 1 bedroom on the third floor that has a double bed and a double pull out sofa in the same room. That bedroom has its own private bath with a shower.
There is a media room with a 50" television on the third floor that will be available in the evenings. There is an exercise room on the Third floor with a stationary bike and a treadmill. There are coffee / tea makers available in the butlers pantry and you are welcome to store items in the kitchen refrigerator. You will also have use of the kitchen, living room, formal dining room and library.
We are a married male couple and will be staying at the house during your visit. We will be available to answer questions and provide assistance if requested.
We do not allow pets. We do have a dog that will be boarded during your visit, so if you have allergies you should be aware. Children are welcome if supervised.
There is no smoking in the house. You can smoke on the terrace if necessary.
