Quiet but close to nightlife. Ten minutes from World of Glass Transport Museum and Saint Helens Rugby Club. Fibre optic broadband TV and laptop in room. 15 minutes to Lime Street and Liverpool Central. 35 minutes to central Manchester. Great host!
In fact, we haven't been to his house so we have no experince. But Peter made us pay in full. Having learned that we came to Liverpool as exchange students to have a tour, he accepted our booking request at 10:06PM late at night and when we contacted him by phone he didn't answer it at all.Although the time was 11:56PM which may be late for him, what he needed to do is merely to get up to answer the phone and open the door for our two homeless people. What is worse, faced with our continuous phone calls till 9:00AM in the morning, he didn't answer even one call and finally sent a messege to us at noon that he was in hospital. Through several masseges, he refused to return any bit of money back to us and accused us of responding late. This experience is so bad that I decide not to use Airbnb any more. This is the first time but the last time. If he was sick in hospital, how come he accepted our application? If he decided to accomodate us, why didn't he respond to us or even kindly give us a reasonable explanation? It just seems like kite at all. I hope all guests will refer to our feedback when you observe this house. The host is really disgusting, so awful!!!
Peter was an excellent host. He picked me up from St. Helens and gave me a guided tour of the area and his house which was incredibly useful. He is a very likeable chap and has a good sense of humour! The room is basic but nice and you have access to the kitchen, lounge and there is a nice bathroom. As he said: my casa su casa! There is good wifi! I was unfortunately on an intense work related course working long days so I don't get time to spend much time with peter, which was a shame! The location gives easy access to the whiston hospital and St. Helens which has lots of amenities and seems lively at night of you'd like!!!! An airbnb success! Thanks peter! Hopefully see you in the future and I hope all goes well with upcoming challenges and you get to see Wales win the RWC final!!!! ;-) cheers
