This open concept studio with 55m² (588ft²) overall space is larger than standard apartments in central Tokyo and has plenty of light coming through east facing glass doors in the main living space. Dining area is elegant for enjoying your own cooking or entertaining day guests. High-end cabinetry throughout gives a comfortable and classy feel to this older building with character.
Apartment is rented as whole, fully furnished and equipped for hassle free move-in. Generous storage space behind beautiful cabinetry (12Wx7Hx2D in feet) can hide a substantial amount of clothing, shoes, belongings or clutter. Therefore this rental arrangement would be most ideal for someone with a transitional period moving to or from Japan or someone who simply wants to live without hassle of the Japanese rental system (non-refunded 'Reikin' or key-money, 2-year fixed contracts, set up costs etc). There is access to the roof of the building, which has a beautiful view of the Tokyo sky line.

This is a traditionally managed residential complex so it is extremely important for one's behavior to blend in with the rest of the residents in the building. There's no problem with being a foreigner, just that behaviors of respect to neighbors and for rules are necessary. Discretion can not be emphasized enough so please do not conduct one's self in a way that would get noticed suspiciously by other residents of the building. If you follow house rules and otherwise good common sense, all will be well :) Otherwise, should note the washing machine water drains into the shower drain. Not a huge nuisance but would suggest showering and running the washer at different times. Also the residence has no designated parking space for cars. Does however have a bicycle rack/parking area. Public parking around the corner is about $30/day. External storage, about the size or volume of an upright piano, available on the premises for about $30/month/unit (inclusive depending on duration of stay). Building aesthetic rules do not allow for any objects (bicycles, hanging laundry etc) to be on the balcony.
Families with infants are also welcome but please no pets and no smoking inside the apartment. Limit up to 2 adults for overnight stay, no parties or loud noise allowed as part of residence rules. Obviously no sublet allowed either. Finally I wish for nothing but the most comfortable stay for my tenants, but occasionally I may need access to the premise to fix/repair/inspect something that affects the living condition of the apartment. In such cases I will ask in advance for tenant co-operation and availability.
