You'll be staying in the lower floor guest suite of our Raised Ranch home. You'll have the whole space to yourself as we don't spend time in the space when guests are here. Main room (fully private) has queen sized bed, desk, TV with DVD player and a large selection of movies (no cable). Access via sliding glass door for fully private entrance. There is an adjacent room (semi private) with an oversized chair and a queen sized bed if you need it. There is also a ottoman convertible cot for a single bed if you need it.
You will have a private bath with shower, shampoo, curling iron, lint roller, cotton balls, Q-tips, extra tooth brushes. Fully stocked snack bar with K-Cups, Tea, Snacks, Energy Shots.
Free high speed wi-fi to access your Netflix and Hulu accounts or get some work done.
Limited use to gourmet kitchen on upper floor if you need fridge room, microwave, etc.
This is the lower level of a raised ranch home and has exterior, private entrance.
Full fenced in yard and dog friendly.
A cat lives on the premises and does sometimes have access to the private room and has full access to the semi-private room (as it has no door to keep him out). Please consider any allergies to dogs or cats when booking.
You will have 2 keys - one to our main front door and one to a private entrance sliding glass door. You can use which ever entrance you prefer. When you check in, we will do our absolute best be here and will give you the key. Private entrance is a SGD into the fenced in back yard that is accessible via a gate in the driveway. On street parking on a cul de sac that mostly is resident traffic only.
We have a gourmet kitchen that is available in the main part of the home with pre-arrangements made. Main area of the home has a friendly dog that will not have access to the space you'll be staying, unless you want her to. We can gate her upstairs or she can keep you company in your space - it's up to you! Bella is quite friendly and active (Australian Cattle Dog mix rescue) so if you love dogs, you'll love her and love being here. Our cat, Boris, mostly keeps to himself but he does occupy the space you'll be staying so keep that in mind with possible allergy considerations. Hosts are generally home - friendly and helpful if you need it. We love to share a cup of coffee and a chat with our guests when schedules allow. But we won't hover so if you prefer to keep to yourself that's fine too. We've even been known to keep your dog company while you are out if (s)he gets along with Bella and one of us is home. =D
We have a Keurig with coffee and tea available for you. We don't have cable, but we have a nice selection of DVDs for your use. The bathroom is fully stocked with things we think you may need - curling iron, clothes iron, tooth brushes, shampoo, lotion, cotton balls, q-tips and more. We request you let us know if you are bringing your dog so we can get the fenced in back yard ready and also prepare for your arrival with our dog, Bella.
We ask that you treat it as your own home. Use what you need but don't take what you don't so we can keep the cost of the room down and have extras for future guests. You are welcome to bring your dog and use the fenced in yard. No accidents in the house and in the event there is an issue, please clean it up immediately using the SOS in the bathroom cabinet.
