We are the 1st house, in the only street in Kilmuir. This is a 2/4 person caravan situated in our garden, 1 double bed and seating can be used as 2 singles/king size bed. The shared toilet/ shower room is a few steps away in our home. The caravan is on a self-catering basis, no food is provided. All linen is provided and included in the price. Enjoy the silence, landscape and beautiful walks on the North tip of Skye. Close to The Quiraing and Rubha Hunish, the most northerly point on Skye.
Please remember to bring food as this is a self catering caravan. There is 1 double bed and the large seating area can be used to sleep a further 2 adults. Weather permitting you will enjoy beautiful sunsets and amazing scenery with views to the Outer Hebrides. Smoking is permitted in the garden area, but please don't drop your butts. There is a well equipped kitchen. Your caravan is in our garden a few steps from your shared wash room in our home.

You have the sole use of the caravan with free parking. There is access to the washroom at all times, just inside the front door of the house, a few steps away and shared with the G'van. Please feel free to wander in the garden area and use the tables and benches.
We try to meet our guests on arrival to see that you have all you need & to answer any questions. Otherwise we do not disturb you. If you require anything we are more than happy to help where we can and give suggestions on what to see and do. If you are going to have a BBQ we have a stand you must use to prevent burning the grass.
There is only running cold water in the caravan. Uig which is 5 miles away is the nearest place for eating out. From October-March it is best to eat out in Portree 20 miles from here. There is a pub with a restaurant, and two café's down by the pier. There is a hotel in Uig which serve lunches and evening meals (seasonal). Uig has a post office and shop open Monday-Saturday 9-5.30 and a shop and petrol station down by the harbour open Sunday 10-4, Monday-Saturday 8-8 . The nearest super market is in Portree.
We only ask that you respect our property, leave it as you find it and please consider other guests. Quiet time is from 10.30pm (no showers after 10.30pm). Guests staying for more than one night are welcome to come and go as they please. Please park in front of our house (not at our neighbours) as detailed in your welcome message.

We live in the crofting township of Borneskitaig, in the parish of Kilmuir. We have a daughter of 22 and a son of 20. We have a small croft with some sheep, hens and 2 collie dogs, We both enjoy walking and sea and fly fishing.
