This is a lovely apartment situated in the beautiful unspoilt village of Le Cernix, Crest Voland. Walking distance to the ski lifts, close to village with bars and restaurants. All modern amenities including broadband wi-fi. Comfortably sleeps six.
This modern spacious (50sq m) apartment has 2 bedrooms (main bedroom has a double bed, second bedroom can be set up as twin or double, large sofa bed in living area comfortably sleeps two), an en-suite shower room to the main bedroom, family bathroom (with bath and shower) and a separate WC. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and dining area. A large decked balcony off the dining area provides spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
The apartment has high quality mod cons including a large plasma TV, CD/DVD player, ipod docking station and wireless broadband internet.
Within the chalet development there is a large indoor heated swimming pool (open December to end of March and July and August), large sun deck, secure parking and ski locker.
Le Chalet des Oursons is conveniently located just minutes from the main ski lift or join the blue run earlier for easy access. Guests can ski back to the door
The village, Le Cernix, has all you need for your holiday including ski hire, ESF ski school, ski pass office, bars, restaurants, deli/bakery and tourist office .
The apartment will be rented exclusively to you for the time you have booked.
Our on-site contact is Pierre. He will arrange access for you on arrival and check you out when you leave. He will also deal with any enquiries you might have during your stay.
The apartment is located in the village of Le Cernix which is next to Crest Voland, a pretty village 20 mins drive from the exclusive and bustling resort of Megeve. Le Cernix has all you need to enjoy your trip located right there but is a short drive from Crest Voland which offers more dining options (cafes and restaurants)together with a small supermarket/deli ("Sherpa"). There is also a larger tourist office, post office and ATM located there. A large hypermarket is located at Praz -sur -Arly, a 15 minute drive from Le Cernix
It is at the heart of The Espace Diamant ski area, situated at the foot of Mont Blanc. The area has 185 km of alpine slopes and comprises the five villages of Les Saisies, Crest-Voland, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet and Praz sur Arly.
The resort gained its first lift in 1951 and has grown steadily ever since, the creation of the link to Les Saises in 1985 formed the original 'Espace Crystal' ski region. The "Espace Cristal" now links to Les Saisies and Crest-Voland - Cohennoz, to form "Espace Diamant". From December 2005 this area has also been linked to Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet and Praz sur Arly.
It is ideal for families and couples, the slopes suit beginners and intermediate level skiers. There are also black runs for the more advanced skiers but is mainly made up of blue and red runs.

The slopes are unspolit and uncrowded and the Apres ski is fairly low key. There are 12 Bars, 9 Restaurants and one night club in Crest Voland. In Le Cernix (a few minutes from Crest Voland) there are several restaurants, a few bars, deli and Le Pub.
The area has also a large Nordic network of cross country trails which run through the heavily wooded countryside surrounding the village.
There is plenty to enjoy in the summer too. Lying on the “Route des Grandes Alpes”, Val d’Arly is the perfect base for excursions into the surrounding countryside, whether by car, on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback. Other activities in the area include golf, white water sports and fishing.
The heated swimming pool is also open in Winter and Summer seasons and has a large sundeck outside with lovely views of the mountains.
There is secure underground parking for guests. Even though you are within walking distance to the ski lifts and the village of Le Cernix we would recommend having a car for your stay to enable easy access to the larger town of Crest Voland, however there is a public bus service connecting all the towns in the area.
We ask for a 150 pound returnable deposit to cover any small breakages or damage.
We also require payment of 71 euros for an end of stay cleaning charge. This is to ensure the apartment is in a suitable condition for the next guests.
For an additional 12 euros per set we can provide bed linen and towels for your stay.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed.
