Lovely 3 brm townhouse.
Beautifully appointed, with a well equipped kitchen, pretty garden and outdoor areas.
Very close to Woburn Railway Station and Queensgate mall.
No smoking inside.
We loved our stay at Karen's house! The house is warm, cosy, clean and modern. Beds were super comfy. The house is great value. nice touches included some thoughtful food in the fridge, dvds and toys left out for my son and Rosemary (Karen's mum) texted us each day to make sure we were good. my grandma lives round the corner so if Karen will have us back we'll be there!!
A wonderful stay. Our host couldn't have done more to welcome us or make us feel at home. She went to the trouble of leaving toys for my kids and groceries in the fridge. The house is located steps away from Woburn Station which is 25 minutes from Wellington Railway Station, and only 10 minutes by train to Petone if you want to go to the beach. Inside the house was a perfect fit for myself and 3 kids. It had everything we could need. I highly recommend staying here if you want your own space, but want to be close to everything.
Thank you for a great stay in your very comfortable townhouse. It was beautifully bright & airy, very convenient to trains, shops etc. For our family of 2 couples & single adult it was ideal. The sofa bed is probably best suited to a 'light' adult or child. One suggestion/recommendation would be to replace the toilet seat in downstairs bathroom. Thank you
We were lucky enough to stay at Karen's house in Woburn (just outside of Wellington in Lower Hutt) whilst visiting family as it was just perfect for us. The house is located in a beautiful street surrounded by Pohutakawa trees. It's a literal stone's throw from the local railway station, where you can get into Wellington in about 20mins, costing only a few dollars. We were greeted by Karen's Mum who was very helpful and was quite willing for us to use tea, coffee, milk, ketchup, cereal and the like. It was very kind, although we didn't need to as the local mini-supermarket is just over the railway bridge (3mins walk) where they stock almost everything you could want. The local town centre is only a few minutes in the car where the Westfield Mall has clothes stores, cafe's and everything you might need. Karen's house has a small but perfectly tended garden and is fenced all round. Inside the living area opens into a small courtyard which brings lots of light into the house. We were lucky to have great weather and opening the doors of a morning was simply lovely. There is a small dining table ideally suited for four, but all five of us managed to sit round for breakfast without any problem. The beds were comfortable and warm and we all slept well - even my Son in the study who chose to sleep on the sofabed.. as he thought it was cool! Almost forgot to mention, that there are two bathrooms both with showers.. which is fab when you have a teenage daughter! That also reminds me, we were provided with great wifi access which for anyone with children (and big children alike) is a must. All in all it was a great place to stay. For us it was a perfect location, but equally with 5 of us it's hard to find places to stay at a reasonable price. So all in all Karen's place was perfect.
