EATING AND DRINKING
Darlinghurst, Surry Hills or Paddington offers a diverse array of experiences to any budget. There are breakfast bars, cool cafes, bookshops to hide and sip coffee/tea, tapas bars, night clubs to traditional Italian restaurants and fine French dining.
NIGHTS OUT & SHOPPING
Darlinghurst's main strip is Oxford Street, where Sydney's fabulous Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade is held each March.
It's at night that the suburb really comes alive with clubs, cocktail bars, live music and gay bars offering late night entertainment.
Walking distance to the flagship area of Sydney’s Pitt St Mall – or catch a bus to Bondi Junction where a multi-level shopping mall awaits you.
Kings Cross is close-by with nightclubs galore.
Alternatively, catch a bus to Newtown and the Inner West, from the bus stop just 50m away to experience another side of Sydney - with buzzing bars, beer gardens and pool tables lining every corner.
If you love shopping, good food and wine or people-watching, then Oxford Street is a great place to start. On weekends you'll be treated to sustainable markets, flea markets selling everything from pre-loved designer vintage to locally designed apparel and accessories.
Nearby Crown, Burton and Liverpool streets are packed with fashion boutiques, bookshops, art galleries, music shops, cafes and restaurants. On Saturdays you'll find superb organic produce at Sydney Sustainable Markets at Taylor Square. Don't miss an art fix at Brett Whiteley Studio and Object – Australian Centre for Design and Craft.
You will have access to the whole of our apartment. There is a front yard and backyard shared with the other tenants.
You are welcome to use our laundry facilities which are not shared.
