Jacline was a perfect host from the start with a lovely welcoming apero in the garden.
The parking was great as right at the front of the property, so it was easy to move our stuff in (lots with a baby)... The room was on the first floor upstairs, so you felt a lot of privacy and looked as in the photos; everything tidy and clean.
The breakfast was typical French ie. bread, yogurt, fruit with lovely home made jams and even had home made cake too! Wasn't keen on filtered coffee but it does non the less.
The house is generally not very child proof, only that it had lots of little like decorations and books etc. which little fingers keep touching (my 1 year old amateur walker) especially the bedroom, however, with a few temporary rearrangements here and there, it was fine.
I liked it that we were made to feel like home and that I could use the kitchen freely, which was very useful for our baby's needs like reheating bottles, storing food in the fridge etc.
On a note side, Ugine itself is very remote, a very small village, so make sure if you want to eat locally, you go out before 9pm as everything closes by then even the pizza take-aways. Although, apparently, another town close by has more restaurants on offer that opens later, although we didn't try. There's also a small organic shop if you're into that, which we were very happy with.
So, overall, we are happy with our stay and if we were to be in the area again, we would definitely return for another stay.
