Private studio with own front door on the most city center canal.
Studio available for rent, located in the city center. Bathroom, spacy living room, bedroom and kitchen. You will have the whole space to yourself.
We stayed in this very well located apartment for a week. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking with both basic ingredients and tools. The host left us a nice bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit. The queen bed is comfortable but, because it is fitted into a niche, it's not easy to climb into. The open bathroom set up is functional but doesn't provide much privacy. The living room furniture is comfortable and the table and chairs work well for meals. One caution about this place is that it really only works if you are short (under 5'9"). Otherwise you'll bump your head on the ceiling beams. And the only mirror won't reflect the top of your head if you're taller than 5'2". Our check in was very easy and communication with Lia was fast and helpful.
The flat is a great space, the pictures don't do it justice. We were greeted by Lia's son Max, who was always available via message in case of anything. Timely check-in and check-out. Location is unbeatable, in the center of Amsterdam and close to the Central Station. The kitchen is amazing, it has tons of appliances and space. The bed was creaky but comfortable. We were greeted by a platter of cheeses, sausage and fruits, also wine, a lovely detail. You should know that the bathroom is only separated by a shower curtain, there is no wall or door. We did have a small issue with a mouse we found inside the bread one night - but Max explained it's due to the canals nearby and the flat being a lower floor apartment, so just make sure the holes above the counters are covered and you'll be fine.
We had a GREAT time in Amsterdam! Lias place is in a perfect location, right off the main road but in the heart of the city. 2 short blacks to the tram stop, a 5 min walk to the Royal Place Square, 5 more minutes and your at the red light district. LOTS of good places close by to eat at and a large grocery store on the corner to pick up some food items for those times you just want to stay in and relax. The place was clean and Lia was quick to respond to any questions or issues we may have had (the TV went out and was replaced the next day after she checked with us to make sure we would be there). Great value for the money and we highly recommend it, you won't be sorry.
You can't beat this location! You are in the best area with so much going on near you, but are far enough away to be able to have a quiet rest! Lia and her son were very helpful and responsive. Pictures are very accurate and the studio was vey comfortable. I would highly recommend this apartment!
Lia was very responsive and helpful. She was prompt and flexible when it came to check in/out. Wine, waffles and fruits were given as a welcoming gift, which is a very nice touch. The apartment was cozy and clean with all required amenities (Fast internet, TV, speakers, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, oven etc.). The apartment is located on a quiet street right on the canal (10 min to Dam Square) with the right amount of people passing by. I enjoyed my stay there very much and would definitely come back.
