Just need to clarify a few points
Internet at the house - we've had no other complaints on this but I understand how important it is to have reliable internet - I've previously researched the best service available in this rural area and found that, contrary to the claims of the other major network providers in Portugal, only Vodafone actually works at this villa. So please, if you are reading this and thinking of coming to our villa, do not bring a hotspot with you - it will not provide a better service than the one already installed.
As the guest only made one passing comment on the internet during her stay, and previous guests have been happy with the service, I am hoping it was a one-off service failure but after this feedback I will monitor it closely in the future.
The house book runs to 20 pages and is sent in electronic form to all guests before their arrival. It covers the need to know basics of the villa plus places to go and see and eat with maps showing where everything is located.
Not sure what was meant by "being difficult to get around with no service" - it is true that there is no bus service to this remote location but in many ways that is its attraction and a car is recommended for all guests coming to the villa.
Regarding music and large groups: we do welcome large groups but we do not welcome parties of any size that wish to play music at a level which disturbs their neighbours. I am sure that this guest was not playing the music "loudly" but with only the sound of the sea to contend with, music will tend to carry further than one might expect, so guests should take this into account and I have now added this warning to the house book. The resort is unashamedly a quiet, family orientated resort and anyone thinking of booking should take this into account. Rowdy or noisy behaviour will be frowned upon at any time of day. Note, I am not saying that Nancy or her party were either of these and will happily welcome Nancy back anytime in the future.
