Newly renovated house with an old Woodstock feel. Very conveniently situated between the southern suburbs and the CBD, a short taxi away from either. This area is protected by the government, and is one of the oldest and best preserved parts of Cape Town with lots of great things to do right at your doorstep, such as; The Old Biscuit Mill market, gratify street art tours, plenty galleries and exciting new restaurants.
The ceilings are high and the rooms are large, there is great flow through the house as bedrooms lead naturally onto lounge and then into the kitchen area. There is also a great outside area to hang out and get some sun. The house is well guarded with slam lock doors and burglar-bars for a safe and comfortable experience.
The room available is at the front of the house adjacent to the front entrance. Access to all facilities within the house is available.
I will be there to show you around at the beginning and either one or two of my friendly roommates will be be there to help you out and assist with anything you need.
The space is shared hence the approachable price. This means that in essence you will be staying in a small digs with some other Capetonians. This should be a plus as they will be co-hosting and happy to help you with anything you need. Basics will be supplied such as tea and coffee and a house keeper will come in and clean at no extra cost.
It is essential that you keep the front gate locked. This area does have some petty crime so leaving valuable outside on in your car is a no no.
I am a relaxed surfer originally from Durban, I moved to the mother city of South Africa (Cape Town) in 2012 to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cape Town. I love being outdoors and hanging out with friends. I am very much a peoples person and a conservationist at heart. I hope to make anyone who comes into my space feel welcome and comfortable.
