In peaceful, charming Devon hamlet, a converted bakery alongside a 15th Century thatched cottage, with views. Situated in the tranquil Teign valley 7 miles from Exeter. 2 minute walk from The Great Barn. No cleaning fee.
The room was last used as a bakery in the 1950s and still has much of the original bread oven. Recently converted with a modern shower room. Kitchenette with kettle, toaster and refrigerator. Cooking facilities of microwave and fast induction hob. There is a very comfortable kingsize bed and a 4ft sofa bed for an adult or two small children. An optional cosy bunk bed (full length) above the old oven at the back of the Bakery can serve as an extra bed. Travel cot also available.
Breakfast: Breakfast is provided for you in the Bakery for you to eat at your own leisure. This includes local free range eggs, bread, muesli and cereal, yoghurt, fruit and a selection of jams and honey. We also provide teas, coffee, milk and fruit juice.
Use of washing machine, dryer and larger fridge/freezer
in laundry outhouse.
The Bakery is self-contained with its own access. It has its own terrace with chairs and table facing south over the view. We love our garden and hope that guests will enjoy wandering around it and the meadow. There are lots of private sitting areas with stunning views to be enjoyed with a cup of tea or a glass of wine.
We are almost always available and are delighted to help with any queries or advice on the local area, but we also understand that people like their privacy.
One well-behaved dog on a lead is welcome.
£10 extra per child or extra adult after the first 2 people.
2 nights minimum on Fridays and Saturdays in June, July, August and September.

The bakery is self-contained with its own entrance and guests are able to come and go as suits them. We hope they will appreciate the quiet and peaceful nature of the hamlet. If you do want to smoke, you are welcome to in the garden. Check-out at 11.00 am.
