Located on 4 acres of secluded forest above Whaley Lake the home is a meticulously restored hunting lodge built in the early 1930’s. The lodge accommodates 6 people with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of which is located inside the Blue Room). Each distinctive room accommodates two people and all rooms have access to the master bath, kitchen, dining room and living room.

The house is an architecturally unique and peaceful retreat from the city and is situated on a plateau above the lake. To access the lake, a quick walk down the driveway will take you lakefront. On Saturdays, you can swim and rent canoes at a private camp. The property intersects the Appalachian Trail, so hiking is easy. Guest have free-range of the house and property.
Come fall and winter, the fireplace is always lit. The deep woods quiet property is surrounded by ever changing gardens, so there are birds, butterflies, and chirping frogs.
The owner is a private chef and restaurateur who resides in the home.
A lovely basic breakfast is provided.
