Minimum stay: 7 nights.
Monthly/4-weekly rate: £22 per person per night.
Self-catering. 3 large bedrooms, each sleeping 2 guests.
Television lounge and dining kitchen.
When I am home I live on site, at the top of the house.
Treat my home nicely please. It is almost 160 years old and requires tender loving care suitable to its great age.
No wet towels on wooden furniture or on the banisters.
24 hour access but, if you are coming back late, please be quiet and try not to disturb the neighbours.
Each room has a dryer to hang clothes on and there is also a dryer on the landing, next to the shower room and the ironing board.
We try to be as green as possible and we have 4 bins: food, plastic wrapping, bottles (glass and plastic)/cans and paper.
You will be expected to put your rubbish in the correct containers. Please also ensure that tin cans are put into the bin with the top of the can pushed down. This will help to prevent cut fingers should it be necessary to look through the bin (sometimes the wrong items are put in the wrong bins).
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund. Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.

Being somewhat curious I spent most of the first 20 years of my adult life travelling the world.
I returned to Manchester in 1994 and opened Manchester's 1st Backpackers Hostel; before Manchester realised it had a tourism industry. Since I returned to 'sunny Manchester' I have qualified as a professional Tour Guide, a TEFL teacher, a complementary therapist, a sports therapist, a clinical hypnotherapist and a chef. I'm currently doing a course on radio production.
I'm interested in co-operative housing and businesses and I'm in the process of setting-up a social enterprise/charity which will provide inexpensive accommodation and subsidise complementary therapies to those in the community who cannot afford them.
Our working title is 3rd Age Hostelling and Housing. Please find us on-line and give us a 'Like'.
I enjoy walking, talking, reading and yoga. Actually I don't enjoy yoga, its a killer, but I enjoy the benefits of doing yoga so I want everybody to do yoga: if I'm going to suffer I want to share it.
I registered a year ago on this site and I'm still learning the ropes!
