DETAILS OF SKY ROOM AND ROOF DECK USE:
You can reserve private use, of the 4th floor "sky room" with roof deck-- either for day use, or 24 hour use, or even as an extra bedroom. The roof deck has spectacular views in all 4 directions of nearby peaks, and the vast valley below (about 120 miles wide!) This is the highest and longest view space available in Crestone, with 50-100 mile views. The roof deck is excellent for private sun bathing. There are 3 separate areas, sheltered from the wind and rain.
Are you a lover of "sky-watching"? At our place you can not just watch some of the most unusual sky-shows and cloud activities you'll ever see and you can be right up there in it!
Sit in the contoured deck chairs and lean back, or swing on the porch swing observing a constantly changing panorama of cloud formation and dissipation, with constantly shifting patterns of light and shadow, that will sooth your soul into a sense of the timeless peace of the universe spread out before you.
After dark, the show goes on. At an altitude of 8500', the constellations and the Milky Way shine with so much greater brilliance. If you are interested in seeing UFO's, this is the highest and widest view of the entire "mysterious valley" (San Luis Valley) available. Ask ahead of time about availability and options for use of sky room and roof deck.

I AM Larry, your host, and I am very concerned that you have a good experience during your visit here. I am here to see that you are comfortable, and that you find access or the guidance you need for anything you may be seeking here.
I BELIEVE IN BEING ACCESSIBLE TO MY GUESTS. This is a very special, "like-nowhere else-in the world" place to me, with many unique opportunities for unusual personal experiences, and ever deeper levels of personal transformation for those who are ready. Often these experiences are very hard to find without some sort of guidance. I am willing to help you explore the various opportunities available within the extraordinary Spiritual Centers, Crestone scheduled activities and within nature itself.
I HAVE 27 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE HERE, and I feel a deep satisfaction in being able to share my knowledge of the different areas seated in this richly, abundant place. If you wish I will be glad to talk to you one on one, to get some idea of what your heart is seeking, what draws you to this special place, and then point you in the right direction (or take you there!)
TOURS OF MONASTERIES AND SPIRITUAL CENTERS are available by advance reservation.
