ที่พัก

The Oak Room Suite sleeps 1-3 people for $150, breakfast included. $35 per person, per night, will be charged for additional guests 12 years and older and $25 per night per child under 12 years. Babies in arms are free. The main 255 sq ft room can sleep up to four people in the queen bed and full trundle under it. The adjoining 250 sq ft nursery can only be accessed through the Oak Room, making it ideal for families with children or for guests wanting a separate sitting room. The bathroom is two steps outside the Oak Room door, but is only shared if the Ash Room is booked. The nursery is a bright room with sky lights and high ceilings. It contains a modern crib that meets AAP safety standards and an antique spool spindle youth day bed with water proof mattress. This large room is a delight for children, as they can play with the wooden toys, dolls and stuffed bears as well as rocking horses. There is a rocking chair as well as many children's books.
The three large windows in the second floor Oak Room overlook the woods and waterfall, pond and flower gardens. The furniture in this large room was the first Bryan and Ruth commissioned to be made by Amish craftsmen in Wayne County. The furniture, made from Luftberg Farm red oak trees, was chosen in Mission Style to compliment an oak secretary dresser that Ruth's mother acquired in the 1950's by buying all of the household goods of an elderly neighborhood spinster for $50!! The queen size bed was deliberately made high so that a full size trundle bed could be hidden underneath. If you happen to be vertically challenged, steps are provided to help you into bed :-) The lack of any closet in this room makes the large armoire a necessity, but adds to the historical feeling of the room as do the antique chair and table.
The beds are made up with crisp 100% cotton air dried linens, down pillows and duvets. Old fashioned "feather beds" are available upon request, as are wool and synthetic blankets and pillows. Terry robes are provided for your use, as are huge bath sheet towels.

ผู้เข้าพักใช้อะไรได้บ้าง

Enjoy a cozy wood burning fireplace while you chat, watch TV, read or access your email in the main living room. WiFi is available throughout the house. In the den, you can also watch TV (not flat screen) or play one of the many board games that the family has gathered over the years. You may want to borrow one of the Classics from the bookcase and kick back in a LazyBoy chair to read.
Or take your reading material onto one of the three porches to enjoy the fresh country air:
The screen porch allows outdoor sitting without the bugs while you watch the birds and butterflies feed on the many flowers in the backyard.
The wide wrap around front porch with rocking chairs and porch swing is a serene place to sit as you watch Amish buggies drive by and cows graze in the pastures in the valley.
The back porch is an ideal place to watch the birds and wildlife in the woods or enjoy the sight and sound of the fountain in the small pond or the water as it trickles down the waterfall on the hillside behind the house.
Enjoy a nature/camping/hunting experience without having to sleep outside:
Walk the many paths through 15 acres of woods while you look for deer, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, wild turkeys and groundhogs, as well as wild flowers and mushrooms. Or cross country ski the paths in winter.
Follow the Bluebird Trail and check out the nesting boxes to see the eggs and baby bluebirds up close.
Roast marshmallows or camper pies in the woods around the campfire just a short walk up the hill behind the house.
Enjoy a picnic in the shady grove while the kids swing under the trees or play with the collection of Tonka trucks and dozers in the sawdust pit.
Outdoor games are available such as cornhole, ladder golf, bocce ball, foursquare, ring toss, molkky, Frisbee golf...
Hunters can enjoy a comfortable bed and be only five minutes away from Mohler Wildlife Area, the state hunting grounds located on Brokaw Road.

You may choose to participate in your breakfast by gathering your own eggs from beneath the friendly Buff hens, or picking fresh vegetables from the garden to include in your scrambled omelet.
The hunter in Bryan would be pleased if you tried his fried venison summer sausage with your eggs.

Luftberg Farm B&B is a most-impressive, peaceful retreat, located near Mohican State Forest, not too far from the Pleasant Hill Dam area. The beautiful home, with its gorgeous, scenic property is the perfect get-a-way for anyone, couple, or family. We have stayed here twice, with three children in tow. Ruth and Bryan have welcomed us with kindness and open-arms. Such a lovely couple. The house is well-quipped with all the conveniences you may need for your time away, and includes so many perks and extra-special touches that enhance the tranquil experience for guests. My children remark at how peaceful and fun it is to spend at this gem of a B&B, and we absolutely agree. We're already looking forward to a future return!

Everything was absolutely amazing! No detail was overlooked. We were traveling with our 8 month old baby and Bryan and Ruth made sure that we had everything we needed for him too, including a baby monitor. Breakfast was so delicious and we cannot wait to go back! If you are looking for a retreat from it all, we would definitely recommend!! Thank you Ruth and Bryan!!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Luftberg Farm with Ruth and Bryan. It felt as if we were staying at the home of a dear friend. We were immediately welcomed and felt comfortable. We had two small kids (18mos and 3.5) who had a ball petting the chickens, running around the grounds, watching the birds, and playing in the kids' room in the Oak Suite, which was so perfect for us. Breakfast was delicious and abundant, freshly made with love by Ruth and Bryan. This was our first trip to that part of Ohio, and it was just lovely. If I ever need a place to stay in that area again, my first choice will be Luftberg Farm. Thanks Ruth and Bryan!!

Bryan and Ruth were amazing hosts. They made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The Oak suite was perfect for our family. The children's room was full of toys and books for the kids. They had snacks for the little ones, let my son help collect eggs, did crafts and played games with the kids, and made us dinner over the fire so that we didn't have to take an overly tired toddler to a restaurant.

We planned and built a large modern country farmhouse in 2004, with the intent to share it as a B&B during retirement years. Bryan is a retired teacher, having taught high school biology and anatomy for 38 years. Ruth is a retired registered nurse. We have lived on our 38 acres…
