Our light-filled 2 bedroom cottage has full central heating and is available all year round for short or long stays. It is in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by vineyards and just a short drive to the main road for exploring our lovely countryside.
Tarsac is a peaceful hamlet and the silence is only occasionally broken by a tractor on its way to the vines... The cottage has an entrance hall, living area with seating, dining and kitchen combined plus two very large bedrooms and a full bathroom.
There is a large grass and gravel flower filled courtyard with two dining tables so you can always find a spot to sit in the sun or shade - as you wish. There are two sun loungers with cushions and a gas barbecue and barbecue tools. Off road parking is available just outside the gate so you won't have far to carry your cases!
We live in the adjacent house and share the courtyard but if you would prefer a private garden then we have another on the far side of the house which you are welcome to use. We are available to chat to anytime and will happily advise on local trips, restaurants and wines and can book tours or restaurants for you. There is tourist information in the Gite including lists of our favourite outings and eating places. If you wish we can shop for you before you arrive too.
We have listed our high season prices - July and August dates. For other dates please contact us for a quote.
TV - Freesat UK channels available and a large selection of books.
There is a DVD player and we can supply DVDs in English & French if you wish.
We do allow smoking in the garden but not in the Gite and, as we have a cat we are not able to accept dogs.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.

I live on the premises with my husband, Anthony, and our cat, Nibsy, and can be seen pottering about in the garden most days. After decades in the Middle East we moved to rural France in 2003 where we spent many years renovating our home (which was originally a garrison and is over 600 years old). We are very happy to receive guests in our cottage and are available to assist you in finding great places to visit and to answer your questions. We speak french so can also help you with restaurant bookings and know some great places to eat.
Anthony plays the piano and there is a piano in the cottage (one of our spares...) you can use if you wish.
