From Logan: Beautiful quaint country house, beautiful yard, idyllic gardens both flower and vegetable. A very acomodating and friendly family atmosphere, felt right at home immediately and truly enjoyed getting to know Jane and her son George. It was such a treat to meet others who were travelling, that booked other rooms in the home. Jane's cooking(George's too!) was so nourishing, fresh and local(daily veggies from her own garden!). We had everything we needed in the house, like being at home really. Oh, and of course the two beautiful black labs were so much a part of the enjoyment, they helped me feel right at home. Also, Jane, "Thank you!" for the bicycle you loaned me for the day to ride around the town during my exploring!!! I hope I can visit again one day soon!! From (Robert)Bob: Jane and her son George made myself and my daughter Logan feel so welcome, accepted and supported that we did not want to leave at the end of our stay! From the day we arrived it was clear that Jane is the type of person who "goes way beyond the extra mile" to make sure everything is as good as it can be, great attention to detail for her guests. She even loaned us Wellington's and additional warm clothing to wear for our British Open slog through the rain, muddy and amazingly cold conditions on the golf course! Brilliant!! The fresh fish from the local fish market that Jane picked up for her guests was wonderful and gave us a sense of what it is like to live in the area. Jane's garden vegetables were picked as needed and served with our meals. Many of our conversations were around eating well and nutrition, Jane has a great deal of experience and shared much of it. There are so many experiences to relate, can't mention them all, but must mention the golf with George and fellow traveler from Canada Larry. George took us to his local golf club one evening after The Open experience and we played golf in Scotland!! Thank you George!!! The countryside you travel through to get to Gibliston Mill is breathtaking, Edinburgh is not far away and getting to Northern Scotland is easy....if you want to see some of gorgeous Scotland, here is a place for you! You will not be disappointed. The milieu within Jane's residence is exactly what travelers need in my opinion.....the enjoyment of having travelers in their home and assisting them in their journey was palpable. In my previous European travels I have experienced youth hostels, traveled under the auspices of SERVAS, stayed in other B&B's, and I must say the experience in Colinsburgh, Scotland was without question a peak experience for me. Hats off to you Jane! Well done! And, I echo Logan's words....I hope we are able to visit again some day. It was truly a delightful experience. Best always, Logan and Robert Ferrelle

คำตอบจาก Jane:
Dear Robert and Logan Thank you both for such lovely reviews - but you were delightful guests, so the pleasure was all ours! I'm so glad Gibliston Mill was the highlight of your trip - in spite of all that rain!! We'd LOVE you to come back one day, both to see you again but also to prove that it usually gorgeous weather here in July! All the best and keep in touch! Jane and George
