This private guest space with its own entry has a super comfortable queen bedroom, lounge & bathroom (all rooms for guests only, not accessed by host).
Light and airy, people tell us it's a relaxing and inviting space to spend time in. Bedroom/loungeroom has heat/aircon and overlooks birch trees.
We designed and built our house twelve years ago with space and light in mind. The house has unique design features and is a relaxed and inviting place to be in.
We're relaxed people and glad to offer this guest space to travelers. It is a great base for your stay in Bendigo.
Whilst the guest space is at the front of the house we live in, it is completely sectioned off and private, as hosts we do not access the guest space.
What's included in the very private guest space?
The accommodation is accessed by a private entrance via the blue door on the verandah.
While the guest space is in our house it is completely closed off and private, totally separate from our living areas.
It is separated from our part of the house by a large locked sliding door.
If we are at home during your stay, we are available to answer any questions or assist if needed. Otherwise you can reach us via text message or phone call.
The guest bedroom and lounge room are two adjoining rooms separated by a sliding door. You have your own private bathroom.
Your bedroom and loungeroom space overlook the birch trees in the front garden. I've emphasised privacy in the description of our property as we appreciate having privacy at accommodation in our travels in Australia and overseas, and I find it helps to know that as a guest when making a booking.
Whilst the guest space does not include a kitchen, for easy self-catering your space does include a bar fridge, microwave, toaster, tea/coffee facilities, tumblers and wine glasses, and plates/bowls/cutlery. We are located a short distance from cafes in View Street or the CBD if you prefer to eat out.
We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac in a peaceful neighbourhood on the edge of the Bendigo CBD.

We (my partner Tom and I) have enjoyed creating the space that we live in. We designed and built the house thirteen years ago to replace the very aged miners cottage that we lived in for years before that. We've enjoyed creating the garden which provides shade and a great haven for birdlife.
We enjoy being airbnb hosts and providing a friendly, relaxing and private quality accommodation experience for our guests.
We love being able to live so close to the city centre and taking advantage of all it has to offer - from pubs, cafes/restaurants and the Bendigo Art Gallery to outdoor training sessions in Rosalind Park in the centre of Bendigo.
In terms of travel we've enjoyed our time spent in the England, Ireland, Spain, France, Malaysia, Vanuatu, and more recently we were lucky enough to spend time in the Maldives. We enjoy day trips to places closer to home such as Daylesford and spending time at the ocean.
The guest accommodation includes a library of books which reflects our love of books and reading, and dvds for guests that have some time to relax.
