The Grade II listed cottage has been sympathetically restored with the oldest part being 15th Century. We are based in Albourne but Brighton is approx. 11 miles and by train 15min
We are so lucky to live in Sussex. There is so much to do and all within easy reach from our doorstep: London, Brighton, Hickstead, countryside and lovely walks, the seaside, National Trust properties and lovely pubs to name but a few. It is a beautiful area.
The house dates from 1450 and is Grade II listed with later additions and is on a working smallholding. We have two double bedrooms available for bed and breakfast. This double bedroom out of the two available has a balcony with a seating area for two where breakfast can be taken should they so wish. The house has been restored by the owner breathing fresh life into it and nature thrives. The b&b offers peaceful nights and lovely views and you can relax with a cuppa or a glass of wine. We are easily accessible to lots of things and have great transportation links.
There is a garden room/lounge area downstairs with views over the garden, fields and vegetable patch. They can walk around the fields and in the summer take in all the lovely wildlife and you may even be here when we have lambs.
You only need to ask if you want any help with anything. We have leaflets on various things going on around the area and having lived in Sussex on and off for most of our lives, we know the area well and can advise on lots of things to do and see.
Check in from 3.00 pm although earlier requests are available. Check out 10 am next day.
To treat the house with respect and care
No smoking is allowed inside the house

My name is Emma and I live in Albourne. I have worked mainly in London but also lived in New York and New Zealand. Love talking to people and tennis is my thing although I enjoy most sports.
