1.5 hrs from Seattle, cosy yurt in a beautiful country setting. A great place to just relax, or minutes to hikes and historic downtown Ellensburg. Includes full kitchen and bathroom w/clawfoot tub. Porch with lovely view. Advertised for 2, but could easily sleep 5-6. $10/night/extra person. Minimum 2 night stay.
This yurt is pretty tricked out, but it's important to remember that a yurt is basically a large high-class tent! Lark Meadows is also a working farm, so you may need to dodge a bit of chicken poop (free range chickens)! That said, it is a comfortable and beautiful space to get away and just chill, or use as a base for outings in the area.
Wifi, swim in pond, many local hikes, nice pedestrian downtown with galleries, shops, farmer's market, wineries, etc. Fresh produce available for sale in season, or treat yourself to a fabulous farm to table breakfast or dinner featuring ingredients grown on the farm...speak with Ren about pricing and menu.
Farm-made dishes might include...
-fresh seasoned greens topped with poached eggs, gluten-free biscuits
-gluten-free black current pancakes with bacon & maple syrup
Dinner would likely feature pasture-fed lamb, but could source other meats:
-Algerian Lamb Shanks
-Spicey Ma Pow Tofu: vegetarian or with lamb
- Savory Lamb Barley Stew
We must perform ongoing farm chores, irrigation, etc., so may pass by the yurt, but generally guests have their own private space.
Minimum 2 night stay.
-Generally no pets allowed, due to livestock on premises
-Shoes off in yurt
