The apartment is very nice. It's large, airy, lots of light, well decorated with art, clean, very functional furniture. Very comfortable, particularly for a family. The kitchen is well-stocked. Good, fast wireless internet. Lots of books on diverse subjects, although we didn't have time to read any. The washer & dryer allowed us to travel lighter, with fewer clothes. Keep in mind that Malou and her family live there when they don't rent out the apartment, so they have their personal items and space.
The host: we didn't meet Malou, but we did meet her mother. Malou & her mother were fantastic. They were friendly, responsive, trusting and incredibly flexible & accommodating with our changing plans. The kids enjoyed the ice-cream and snacks that they'd left for us. :)
Location: we liked the location a lot. It's in a quiet, residential neighborhood, an easy 5-7 minute walk from the Nordhavn S-train station, and a 20-30 minute walk from the center of the city. Easy to get to from the airport: metro to Norreport station and then a choice of 3 S-trains to Nordhavn, which is 2 stops away. (But if you have heavy luggage that you cannot roll over cobble stones, you might be better of taking a taxi from the airport.) The S-trains also go the Central Station in about 10 minutes, and to Helsingor & Frediksborg in the other direction.
In short, we'd have no hesitation in staying there again on our next visit and highly recommend it to others as well. Much better than staying in a hotel, especially if you are a family.
Thank you, Malou, for the comfortable stay.
