Clamshell Cottage was designed for those who love the perfect combination of staying in unique, stylish spaces, enjoying amazing pools, and soaking in all of what Port Aransas has to offer. Sleeping 8 comfortably with 3 bedrooms: 2 Queen Bedrooms with private baths each, and a bunk room (2 bunks - twin/twin) and a 3rd full bath- Clamshell Cottage is spacious! If you are looking for one of the most beautiful spaces in Port Aransas for your summer vacation, spring retreat, fall getaway or winter escape, Clamshell Cottage should be at the top of your list! This unique space offers stunning design, perfectly chosen finishes and comfortably furnished with everything you and your guests will want in your Port Aransas Beach House!

There are 2 designated parking spaces at the end of Clamshell Cottage. Boat parking is not allowed. Easy entry for bringing in your luggage, just a few feet from your parking space. Enter the gorgeous covered patio with warm and welcoming outdoor living AND dining, adorned with just the right party lighting. Outdoor shower is right there, easy to rinse off the sand from a day at the beach! Have some beach gear, coolers you brought along? Through a side gate, there's a fenced in area where you can store your outdoor gear, out of site.

Walking into Clamshell Cottage, be prepared for the WOW factor. White shiplap, beautiful and comfortable furniture, large TV and an amazing kitchen! The kitchen is well stocked for those who love to prep, cook, serve and dine! Not only is this kitchen area very functional, beauty was still high on the list with stunning finishes. Enjoy bar seating or dining seating.

The bedroom and bathroom spaces are well laid out with 3 bedrooms: Queen Bedroom with private bathroom and walk in shower (no tub), and entry to the patio. Queen Bedroom with private bathroom and tub/shower combo. Bunk Room with 2 bunk beds, both are twin over twin. And, 3rd full bathroom in the hallway (walk in shower).

Washer & dryer are in the hallway and available for guest use. Large pantry is also located in the hallway so that you can tuck away all of those great beach snacks you brought with you! Microwave is in this large walk-in pantry.

There are 2 large pools in the Pirate's Bay subdivision, where Clamshell Cottage is located. One pool is just steps away from your patio and has a community propane grill (when available). The other is right across the parking lot. This 2nd one has a playscape. Community charcoal grills are located at this pool.

Be sure to enjoy great sunset views from a few spots in the pool area. You'll be about 8 blocks to the beach and it's about a 5 minute drive to the beach. Easy access to shopping, dining, entertaining as well!

House Rules and Things to Note:

Minimum Age to Rent is 24.
NO SMOKING in the condo. This is a non smoking property. $500 fee will be added if smoke odor is present in the home.
No Parties/Events
Quiet Hours 10pm to 7am - Enforced
Not responsible for accidents
There is no child proofing; you must remain with your children at all times.
This property sleeps 8; however, City of Port Aransas city occupancy code states no more than 10 people total, regardless of age.
No late check outs after 10:15am or another night's stay will be charged.
Check in Time is approx time; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4pm but there is no guarantee.

No pets allowed. $500 pet cleaning fee will be charged.

STARTER set for guests to include trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and shower gel. Guests SHOULD bring extra amounts of these items as the starter set is for 1 night.

Guests are responsible for their own beach chairs, beach towels and pool towels. Our linens and towels are NOT to be removed from the property for any reason. Guests will be charged linen fees for misuse of linens or bath towels to include stains, tearing, etc.

Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.

Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time.

There are no refunds for outages of cable/wifi or if community pool is closed for cleaning, repair or maintenance or if pool temperature is undesirable.

We offer our guests a guide for our fave restaurants, activities, bars, nightlife, golf cart rental discounts and many other recommendations.

Clamshell Cottage at Pirate's Bay is right off HWY 361 with very easy access to shopping, dining, entertaining and all that Port A has to offer. This community is well known for its pool areas! You will be a few blocks to the beach as well. Sunsets are amazing here!

Hello, everyone! We are Jim Sokoloski and Chuma Jerome, your vacation rental hosts and founders of SWAY, a personal, vacation rental host marketing and management company for short term, vacation rental properties, currently located in Port Aransas, TX and have recently expanded into Corpus Christi on the North Padre Island side.

We are a family owned business that sprung from our love of real estate, and passion for hospitality, business AND the beach! In 2017, we purchased a few properties in Port Aransas and have been successful in marketing and managing them. Our friends and neighbors noticed that we were taking our properties to the next level, guests were enjoying a better experience and they quickly asked us to manage their own piece of paradise in Port Aransas and Corpus Christ. As a result, SWAY LLC TX was born!

Our name SWAY derived from our purposeful marketing and management plan that allows the owner and guest to relax - your stay will be amazing as a guest, and your property will be well marketed and managed as an owner. It is the SWAY way!
