Lagoona Retreat is a luxurious home with lush, landscaped gardens, stunning ocean views (spot the whales June to October) expansive decks to relax in privacy amongst the treetops with a variety of birds. Situated within the golden triangle of Korora Beach and Headlands. Spectacular coastal trails within walking distance.
Ideally suited for family gatherings and events such as workshops and team get togethers. The entire space comprising the main house and internal apartment can comfortably accommodate 16 adults/kids due to large areas to spread out in throughout the property. Depending on the mix of single and/or partnered adults and kids, we can accommodate 16+ on request and subject to requirements. 7 large bedrooms, 3 separate living areas, Billiards Room with Bar, 3 TV's with Foxtel, Table Tennis and large Swimming Pool area. Two spacious decks with outdoor tables and chairs. A large, lush, tiered garden with a variety of seating areas and a relaxing water feature in the front courtyard offers seclusion and privacy for large groups.
Bed Linen, Bath and Pool Towels are supplied. Basic starting amenities such as toilet paper, shampoo, soap, laundry & kitchen detergent, dishwasher powder, tissues, tea, coffee, sugar, milk capsules, are supplied however these are not intended to cover the needs of everyone during the entire stay.
The main house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and provides sufficient accommodation for up to 9 Guests including kids. For groups of 10 Adults or more the internal 2 bedroom apartment will be included in the price giving access to two Queen size bedrooms, 2 x Divans converting to King Single beds, bathroom with shower and toilet, laundry, lounge, kitchen/dining and balcony. For smaller groups preferring not to share bedrooms, the apartment can be made available for an additional cost to be determined at time of booking.
Meet and Greet at the house on arrival and on departure including a Check Out inspection. All dishes to be washed and left clean in dishwasher or put away. BBQ's must be cleaned before departure. If left dirty a $35 cleaning fee will be charged and payable in cash on departure or deducted from the security deposit.
Host may visit the property every 2 to 3 days to attend to the garden and pool as required.
2 nights minimum booking except for Peak Periods which require either a 5 day or 7 day minimum depending on the time of year.
The 2 level internal apartment with the 2 x Queen bedrooms has a steep spiral staircase leading down to the lower level that is not suitable for young children or elderly.
Lagoona Retreat is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac and the Good Neighbour Policy must be followed. Curfew is 10pm whereby noise will not be tolerated. The neighbours will contact the Host for excessive noise levels and eviction will be effective on the following morning with no refund for remaining days. Parking is prohibited in the street however ample parking, up to 5 cars, is available on the property.
Bookings will not be accepted for functions such as Weddings, Schoolie Groups, End of Season Sport Team Celebrations, etc. Parties and gatherings of more than the confirmed number of guests as listed in the Rental Agreement is not allowed.
Smoking is strictly outside only and butts MUST NOT be flicked over the balcony into the garden and onto the Shade Cloth beneath. The cost for repairs or replacement of the Shade Cloth due to Cigarette burns or other damage will be charged to the Guest. Unfortunately this has been a common occurrence and we will be monitoring this from now on.
2. Check-in Location: ETA to be confirmed with the Host 2 days prior to arrival and the Host will meet the Guest/s at the Property to assist with introduction of the property, facilities and handover of keys
3. Without the express permission of the Host, parking is not allowed for caravans, boats or trailers and in the event of such permission being granted, liability will not be taken for their safety.
4. For your added convenience, you'll find a starter supply of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, toilet paper, bathroom amenities and laundry soap.
5. Without the express permission of the Host, Pets are not allowed on the Property except in the case of hearing, mobility or vision-impaired guests
6. On departure all dishes to be washed and put away, fridge emptied and rubbish to be placed in bins
7. Conduct and General Use of the Property
The Host may establish and post specific rules related to the orderly management of the Property. All persons, whilst at the Property, shall observe the following:
(a) comply with any reasonable requests and directions of the Host
(b) not conduct themselves in any manner which shall be in violation of any law or ordinance, or may be a nuisance, disturbance, hazard, or any unreasonable interference with the use and peaceful enjoyment of the Property, and its grounds, and surrounding neighbours
(c) not use the Property for any purpose which is or may be illegal or injurious to the reputation of the Host
(d) not mark, paint, drive nails, screws or the like into, or otherwise damage or deface any part of the Property
(e) not camp or erect any temporary structure at the Property and its surrounding grounds, without the prior written consent of the Host
(f) barbecuing may be done only in designated areas
8. All persons whilst at the Property shall:
(a) have regard for and keep clean, neat and tidy the House, Apartment and all other parts of the Property;
(b) not leave any garbage, rubbish, waste, disposable napkins, bottles and cans otherwise than in the receptacles provided
9. Housekeeping services occur at the end of each stay. For stays longer than 7 nights, linen can be washed and dried on the Property. Alternatively, notice is given to the Host at time of booking that fresh linen will be required which can be provided at additional cost.
10. Check-in / Check-out Procedures
(a) (i) The person responsible for the booking, or his/her designated representative, who shall be residing at the Property, shall immediately on arrival meet the Host as previously arranged
(ii) The person responsible for the Check-in, who anticipates arriving before or after the agreed time shall, no later than one hour prior to that time advise the Host of the revised ETA
(b) The Property may be occupied at any time after 2pm on the day of commencement of their occupation and must be vacated no later than 10.00am on the day of termination of their occupation unless prior arrangements for an early check-in or late check-out has been made with the Host
11. Holiday Occupancy
(a) The Property shall not be held for other than accommodation purposes and occupancy shall be subject to the occupancy limits set out in the Booking confirmation
(b) Booked guests are the only persons permitted to occupy the Property. Such persons under the age of 18 years shall only occupy the Property under parental supervision
(c) The occupant should report any damage noticed to the Host as soon as possible after check-in. At the end of each occupancy, an inspection of the Property , its furnishings and equipment shall be conducted
(d) the Guest is responsible for any damage or loss of any items that might occur during occupancy by the guests. Charges for any missing items, damage during occupancy, excessive cleaning requirement or charges for any unpaid services shall be billed to the Guest
(e) No person shall bring into, store, or use any flammable chemical, liquid, gas or other material on the Property and its surrounding grounds, other than materials intended for proper use in such Property
(f) No structural changes, reorganisation or removal of furniture, wall hangings, floor coverings, or redecorating of any type within the Property shall be permitted
All persons whilst at the Property shall ensure that any child for whom they are responsible is properly supervised at all times. Children shall be expected to play and behave in a manner that does not create any undue disturbances to the enjoyment of the surrounding neighbours or cause damage to the Property
No person whilst at the Property shall bring or keep any animal, bird or reptile at the Property , including in any type of vehicle, without the prior written consent of the Host
14 Guest Use and Visitors
(a) Guests may invite visitors to the Property but such visitors may only be at the Property whilst in the company of the inviting Guest and such visitors may not exceed the occupancy limit allowed for the Property
(b) Guests shall advise the Host of intending visitors to assist the Host in maintaining security at the Property
15 Liability for Guests' Property
The Property shall be locked when unattended. Any suspicious or unusual activity should be reported immediately to the Host
Guests shall occupy and use the Property and the surrounding grounds at their own risk. They shall release and indemnify the Host from and against any action or demand due to any damage, loss, costs, injury or death caused by or as a result of the Guests' act, use or occupation of the Property and the surrounding grounds, except to the extent that it was caused by the wilful or negligent act or omission of the Host
(c) Lost Property
All property lost or found shall be reported to the Host and returned to the Guest at their cost
The Host may inspect the Property at all reasonable hours
17 Right of Entry
The Host may, at reasonable times and upon reasonable notice enter the Property and the surrounding grounds for the purposes of maintenance.

Trev and I have retired from Corporate Life and moved to the Coffs Coast from Victoria for a slower pace and superb weather. Coffs Harbour NSW is a popular Tourist destination for Domestic and International Travellers. We now have a very relaxed lifestyle on our small acreage property which we share with our furry family consisting of cats, dogs, horses, alpacas, rabbits and chooks.
Trev is a keen golfer and enjoys his time at the Internationally renowned Bonville Golf Resort.
We both miss our family and friends from our former home where we lived for most of our lives. We are early retirees and are keen to create new social connections across Australia and the world. We love spending time with similar minded people who enjoy travel and want to experience the many wonders that this world of ours has to offer. Where required we can be hands on Hosts assisting with Traveller requests during your stay unless of course we are away travelling ourselves. Trev would be keen to host a Golf Group should that be of interest to you.
