2 double bed garden flat in leafy Morningside, complete with log burning stove (logs provided). Morningside is a lovely area of Edinburgh with villagey feel with cafes, gift shops, pubs, and green areas - blackford pond & hill. 10-15 min (bus) to Princes street, the Royal Mile & the castle.
The flat is full of character - the original floorboards have been newly sanded & stained through the hall & sitting room, there are original working shutters & cornices throughout, and a log burning stove was recently fitted in the sitting room for those colder winter nights! The sitting room has a TV with sky tv & wifi.
The kitchen, although fairly compact, is characterful and fully fitted with a double belfast sink, 8 burner hob, 2 ovens and grill, a microwave (incase you don't want to cook!), fridge freezer, washing maching and open shelving. Tea and coffee are available for you to help yourself to.
There is fully fitted bathroom with strong hot shower and bath.
The flat is south facing, so the sitting room with dining table (seating four) is flooded with light in the morning when the sun is out and moves to the back later in the day. There is a little private front garden and a shared back garden.
Although noise from the road can be heard occasionally from the sitting room, the flat is on a fairly quiet street in a residential area and the bedrooms are over the back garden, away from the road.
Guests can use the characterful fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, 8 burner hob & double oven & grill.
The sitting room is available for you to relax in after your day sightseeing or to eat breakfast /dinner at the dining table at, and of course the bathroom, with bath and strong hot shower, is available whenever you need it.
I am usually on hand to greet you when you arrive and contactable throughout your stay if you need me. I happy to give recommendations on places to visit in this great city, from tourist attractions to restaurants.
In the unlikely event that I am away when you are scheduled to visit I will arrange for someone to let you in and show you around the flat and help answer any questions you might have. I will also provide my contact details should you need anything during your stay.
Should you wish to check in earlier than the 12 noon check in time, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Five night minimum stay. This is a no smoking flat, with no pets allowed either, sorry. The block is a quiet (owner occupied) residential one with only 5 other flats in the stair, but as is common with many of the traditional tenements, occasionally noise can be heard.
Please be considerate of the neighbours if you are late back - no late night parties please!
