A 75m² apartment on the first floor of a three-storey, late Art Nouveau style building, located in the trendy and historic marine neighbourhood of Valencia, El Cabanyal, just a stone's throw away from the beach.
The apartment is 75m² and on the first floor of a 1940's building with an east -west orientation. The flat has a living- dining room, 3 bedrooms (one double, two singles), a kitchen (complete with electric kettle, toaster, gas cooker, crockery and cutlery) and a bathroom complete with shower cubicle. There is also an utility room with a washing machine.
All rooms have high ceilings with the original stucco/plasterwork and the mosaic tiled floors of the late modernist era. The two front rooms have moorish style columns and the original wooden windows are preserved in two of the rooms.
The owner is a native German, who speaks English and Spanish fluently, lives in the same building and is easily accessible on a daily basis.
If you are travelling in a group or as a family of up to 8 people, you could book the ground floor apartment (SUN & ART) in the same building together with SUN SAND & SEA as the owners of the two apartments are friends and can arrange the double booking ( subject to availability)
Please respect the neighbours and keep the noise down after 11pm.
Please lock the main entrance door after 11pm at night.
I am a native German, but have lived for the past 27 years in London, UK until I moved back to Valencia (for the fourth time) in 2013.
For years I had a dream of running a little bed and breakfast and when I sold my flat in London, I was able to buy two flats in Valencia, one for myself to live in and one to rent to fellow travellers.
I have travelled all my life, mostly to the Caribbean, South and Central America, Europe and parts of Africa, partly as a professional for a tour operator based in the UK and on my own, or by using couch surfing.
My favourite destinations are Jamaica, Cuba and Brazil, predominantly for their music, which I have been collecting and playing out as a Dj on the London club scene, in Spain and other parts of the world.
Life is short and I believe you have to do the things you most enjoy to make yourself as happy as you can be!!
