Beautiful home, well kept and clean, only 5-10 mins walking distance from downtown Brevard. Located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, it is the perfect location to get away and relax, while having access to all Brevard has to offer.
Very beautiful home located in a quiet neighborhood just outside of town. The room is furnished with two dresser drawers and two twin beds. The twins are both brand new mattresses and each has one soft and one firm pillow on it. Your bedroom has a keyed entry lock for your privacy and security.
The common area is where you can sit back and enjoy a show on TV, and the backyard is the perfect oasis to escape to for a book.
Everything in the kitchen is labelled for your convenience, as well as private and guest bedrooms.
Be free. From the Keurig in the kitchen to the washer and dryer, please make yourself at home and enjoy our amazing little town.
Guests will have access and use to one Brevard Brewing growler. Visit our local brewery and fill up with your favorite brew for under $10. Don't worry about cleaning the growler, but all growlers need to be left at the house after your stay. If you would like one as a souvenir, they can be purchased at the brewery for $3 and change.
As much or as little as you would like. I cook fresh homemade pasta pretty much every night, so if you would like dinner please just tell me in advance.
A little about the host: I grew up in a military family, so I have traveled and lived all over the world. I also was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa. I am a master scuba diver, a private pilot, and love wild mushroom hunting. I am very easy going and pleasant to be around, but do work late night shifts at a local pub here in town, and like to stay very busy.
Access to the house is by electronic pass-code that will be provided in a private email before your arrival along with instructions.
Due to the lack of interests by guests, breakfast is a very simple offering. A variety of breakfast cereals will be provided with 1% and whole milk available in the fridge. If you would like to cook a hot breakfast, feel free to grab some eggs out of the fridge and cook them to your liking. I have chickens that produce tons of eggs, so feel free to cook up some in the mornings during your stay. After you are finished please just leave dishes in the sink and I will attend to them when I get home.
I have a two cats Legs and Lexi. They are outdoor cats, but comes inside at night to sleep in my room, and in the morning he goes back out. They are never allowed access to the guest bedroom, so if you have allergies, it shouldn't be much of an issue. They are very friendly and loving, but if you would like them to stay out of your room, please just keep the door shut at all times. Please do not feed them anything outside of his treats/cat food.
First Aid Kit is located in the mirror cabinet above the sink in the guest bathroom. Includes: Alcohol, gauze, band-aids, triple antibiotic ointment, and Ibuprofen.
If you would like to have a campfire, there is plenty of wood available, but S'mores are not included ;).
I would only expect you to treat/respect the property as if it was your own.
Please do not feed the cats!
Smoking is allowed, but not inside! Out on the front porch and backyard smoking is just fine, but please be mindful not to just toss the butts. I have smoke cans on the front and back porches.
When you are finished with your stay, please strip the beds and leave sheets at the foot of the bed on the floor. You can either leave the room key in the door or on the night-side table.
Hi, my name is Bryan, but most people call me by my nickname "Watty."
I am a very enthusiastic and energetic person. I try to stay busy working on projects in my down time. I love the outdoors no matter what time of year. I love to fly, go hiking, travel, camping, and mushroom hunting.
I am relatively well traveled and have physically lived on 3 continents, 4 countries, and 5 US states. I grew up in a military family, so was afforded the opportunity to travel from a very young age. I also joined the Peace Corps after college and had the experience of a life time helping rural villagers in Zambia learn how to farm fish. I would say my favorite cities in the world outside my "home town" of Boston, would be Cape Town, Vancouver, and Charleston, SC.
My favorite TV shows, and pretty much the only ones I take time to watch, are Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. As far as food goes I pretty much eat meat and pasta on a daily basis.
I am sometimes too easy to get along with, and very much just go with the flow. I take any and all opportunities that come my way to further enrich my life, like the rank of Eagle Scout, divemaster, and private pilot certificates.
Look forward to hosting or staying with you in the near future.
