3 Double Bedrooms, three bathroom detached villa with stunning views of the Med. Walking distance to the beach. The swimming pool is not in use for the winter.
The house is in a luxury development of only 6 properties but ours has the best sea views and is accessed separately from the other 5,
Many holiday homes are far from the beach. Our house is a short walk down to the beach and there are many restaurants shops and bars around. Cafe con leche (similar to cappuccino) is often around one euro per cup. Granada is less than an hour way and the waterpark is less than kilometre away.
The pool although not designed for potential Olympians is perfect for cooling off especially when there are jellyfish around and the sea a little scary.
The one thing I would say is that my advice is to ignore satnav advice once you get as far as Nerja. The reason for this is that Mr (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) is apparently unaware that our road cannot now be accessed from the south.
So, my advice is that you take the first Almunecar exit off the motorway (autovia). Then take the national road to Almunecar (just follow the signs) when you get to Almunecar centre you will see a Repsol petrol station to the left and Almunecar's answer to to the Arc De Triomphe on the right. Carry straight on. There are three sets of traffic lights on flat ground but shortly after you will start to climb a longish hill. Once you start to go down hill, slow down because you will shortly be turning off. You will see a tunnel. Immediately before the tunnel is a sharpish turning to the right. Take the turn and stop within 50 metres and then call Laura who will show you the parking which is in a gated urbanisation.
Mr (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)'s splendid mapping technology could be used for a test drive."
Not far from the aquapark.
Almunecar is a gem of a town that all Spaniards seem to know about but not too many foreigners.
