A beautiful loft room in a grand Victorian terraced house in a quirky, cool neighbourhood close to the centre. This house was featured on the BBC One program 'Home away from home'.
The loft bedroom is spacious, light with a new king sized bed. It has it's own stairs up to it which makes it feel private and for you to enjoy your space entirely. The velux windows on both sides have pull down blackout blinds so you can sleep well. The room is carpeted as well as overlooking the garden. The stairs leading up to it are a little steeper than normal ones, in case you might have mobility issues.
There is high speed fibre optic internet in the house and a projector with Netflix, Prime, PS4, and a selection of DVD's. Because the room might be let above the lounge just ask me to arrange the home cinema.
The house is typical of many Victorian houses with high ceilings and stripped wooden floorboards with many original features.
I own the house and stay in my own room on a different floor and and if I am around can help in any way I can.
Guests can help themselves to cereals and toast, tea & coffee in the morning. Also available is the dining room, living room, and of course the bathroom. When the weather is nice you can sit outside in the garden. There are two great cafes at the bottom of the road if you want to treat yourself to a full english breakfast.
I'm friendly & easy-going and can interact as much or as little as you like, I leave it up to you. I'm available to chat, offer tips and advice. and show you around even.
Please note I also sometimes rent another room in the house out on here. I also occasionally look after my mum's small friendly dog but I'll check if it's ok with you when you book.
1. Smokers are welcome to smoke outside in the garden.
2. Please take off your shoes inside the house.
3. No food/drink in bedroom please.
4. Please lock the chubb lock when going out AND coming in.
5. Please keep the noise down after 11pm for the sake of other guests/neighbours.

Hi I'm Lawrence!
I get on well with everybody and am big into art, film and music as well as bikes and travel. Having worked for a long time as a hotel manager I have a good idea of what to expect when staying somewhere. I love the diversity of living in Bristol and and am keen for people to discover what a beautiful, fun, mad and wonderful city it is.
