Our cottage is hidden away in Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa Valley. It's little - just one cosy bedroom - but in a very handy location just up the road from iconic Tanunda wineries. It has a private garden and undercover off-street parking.
Our cottage is unique because it look old and rustic on the outside but inside it has a modern kitchenette and bathroom, separate lounge with two sofas, cosy furnishings and cable TV. All linen is provided. It is hidden from the road at the back of a half acre block, with vineyards just over the back fence and local wineries in walking distance. Surprisingly its also close to the main street on the edge of the township, and just a 5 minute drive to the town centre. It also has a private garden to relax in which is fully fenced. People like our cottage because it feels like a home away from home.
You have the entire cottage and garden to yourself.
As hosts we are available if you need us. We respect our guests' privacy and leave you to relax and enjoy our location!
The cottage doesn't have a laundry but there is a laundromat in town, just a 5 minute drive away. The kitchenette is fully equipped for self catering with a fridge, oven, hotplates and microwave. The local supermarket is easily accessible and there is also a Farmers Market every Saturday.

We feel very lucky to live and work in the Barossa and hope you will enjoy exploring our region during your stay! We like the rural feel where we live, with vineyards just over our back fence, but we are minutes to the centre of the township. We enjoy our wine and food and the opportunity torelax, so we understand that our guests might just like to be left to do their own thing and enjoy some time out. We like to take short impromptu getaways. Hubby loves his footy and horse-racing hence Foxtel in the cottage for people who may not want to miss a game while away. I enjoy gardening as being surrounded by a natural setting is important to me. If you want recommendations of where to dine out and what to do, we are happy to point you in directions that we have experienced and recommend! Careers in hospitality brought us to the Barossa in 1997... we're still here!
