Everyone is expected to do there own dishes! Everything is provided for you to make that happen. If you need a dishwasher we can be hired for $20/hr :). Inquire when booking.
We have a wonderful bath tub if someone needs a soak after a hard day in the mountains. Epsom salts and bubble bath are available.
Beds will be set up with sheets, pillows, cotton blankets, and comforters. All bedding is washed after each use and the mattresses and pillows are protected by covers. Each guest will be provided with a towel set.
BE RESPECTFUL, BE KIND, AND ENJOY YOUR TIME
Please be respectful of others spaces and time. Some folks may just want to sit quietly and read in the library while others may want to be more social. This includes the HOSTS: Bryon and Lyndsey (we are sometimes tired or in a hurry). The social spaces of the house are meant for people to relax and enjoy the warm feelings of the old house. If you want to get rowdy you may just have to hang out in the barn :) or the kitchen...
We do not allow dogs or any other kind of pets. Sorry if that eliminates you but there is a doggy boarding house right down the road.
Please stay out of other private rooms unless invited.
No smoking cigs anywhere near the house. We have a butt can out near the garage.
Please do your own dishes and if you spill in the fridge or on the floor we have lots or rags and provide paper towels.
We may make more rules as we get more practice... Hopefully not.

I am a local guide and educator. I love good food, meeting new people and the outdoors.
My partner and I just bough an old 1900s farm house in downtown Bethel, Maine. We have big dreams for this old house. For now we are starting with renting rooms to interesting people. In the future we would like to build saunas, host events, and share live music with others.
Bryon and I are open minded and friendly people. We have very busy lives outside of hosting but very much enjoy the opportunities to met and share experience with other people. Here are a few of our interests:
Bryon: Jazz, Music in General, Disc Golf, Sports and Counter Culture
Lyndsey: Cooking, Climbing, Road Bike Touring, Gardening, Pretty Much Anything Outside
We are not interested in hosting people who are picky, ungrateful, so plugged in they don't know others exist, stuck up, unkind or closed minded. If this describes you please do everyone a favor and find somewhere else to stay. If not great we will have a good time!
