Do not stay here!
I have always been a very polite traveler, and I accept the good with the bad. However, from the very second we arrived to the very second that we left it was a nightmare.
We came to stay as 2 couples. My wife and I, and my sister and her boyfriend.
When we arrived, we were placed in 2 rooms separated from each other. I asked to upgrade to 2 rooms that would be closer and preferably rooms with a sea view. This came at a IDR 250 000 per night per couple cost. We were going to be there for 3 nights. I only last 2. The upgraded rooms did not have a sea view. There was no bedding in either room, only a sheet and the beds seemed slept in due to sand and dirt in them. After asking politely for new bedding, we were informed that there wasn't anymore. It was only the next day we received new bedding, and much to our surprise a proper duvet which was not there on the first night.
The bathrooms had a terrible smell coming from them, which filled the entire room everyday. The taps did not work unless you opened another value close to the floor first.
The man in charge was rude, and told us rather to leave but due to Island being mostly booked up it was not an option.(I think he knew this). Only because we were asking for these simple problems to be resolved. He only saw this man on the first night and never again for the rest of our time there.Breakfast was plane bread with 2 pieces of banana on it and a drop of syrup. Tasteless! Ps....A/C's do not work properly either and pool area is so average that we used the pool next door and even ate at the next door restaurant for sundowners.
Renting Bikes: If for some strange reason you still decide to book here, DO NOT rent a bike directly from them.
I received my bike late at night and could not see all that was revealed to me in the morning. A broken mirror held together by tape, and a flat tire which cost me 200 000 in the hopes I would get reimbursed, which was not the case. Oh, and the bikes were 80 000 per day!!! A joke, as my father hired brand new scoopy bike for 60 000.
Now, for $77 dollars per night plus the additional $25 per night upgrade, I can without a doubt tell you that this is daylight robbery.
I've lived and stayed in $5/night places in Cambodia that were better than this.
Other than that, Lembongan is a beautiful place. Just make sure you review, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), YouTube your place before hand. It will save you a lot of time and money. Enjoy your adventures!
