I am retired and live with my husband Paul. We recently moved from Minneapolis to Maui which is now our primary residence. When we're not in Hana, we rent the home to tourists as a short term rental. It has a Maui short term vacation permit approval, something fairly rare in the Hana area. We have owned the property since 2000, and in 2006 completely rebuilt the house on the original foundation. It now has all the comforts one could ask for, as well as being in the peaceful setting of Hana. Cacao, avocados, citrus, and tropical flowers as well as some old macadamia nut trees grow on the property.
Since we have our children and grandchildren on the mainland, we maintain a secondary home in Denver. It's mountains are the perfect contrast to our island home.
My hobbies are cooking, gardening and enjoying my four grandchildren.
