Our names are Halldor and Tota and we have been married for 40 years. We have 5 kids and a lot of grandchildren. We like to discover the world around us and have travelled quite a lot to many countries during the years. Tota did start travelling young. She lived in Mexico with her parents and siblings as a young girl for four years. When we started our relationship, Tota was an experienced international traveller but Halldor an experienced domestic traveller. Since then Halldor has travelled to many countries because of his work and we together for holidays. We have also been travelling inside Iceland all our life.
Our interests are of various kinds such as reading good literature, listing to good music, hiking, cooking and being with our big family and friends.
We are still travelling now and then. From September 2013 to August 2014 we travelled in South-America as backpackers. That year we went through Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Columbia.
Beside Icelandic, we both speak English, Swedish and Norwegian fluently and Tota have some knowledge in German, Danish and Spanish.
From our travelling we have learned that Iceland is a unique place that is worth visiting. In our travelling around the world we have learned to know many great hosts and get to know the many needs of travellers. We love to build on that experience to help you to enjoy your visit to Iceland.
